Madonna is older than dirt, whose looks are faded, whose sound is washed up, and who has become the biggest has-been in the music industry with the exception of Michael Jackson. Her music doesn't get airplay unless its a duet with Britney or Justin, or if its a pre-2000 Madonna song.

I am not a Britney fan, but I am thrilled to see Britney on her way to crushing Madonna's world records in music. Britney is only 27 with many years still ahead of her.

Britney is still young, and her stardom has not fizzled... it has only increased over these past 10 years... even during the past tumultuous 2 years. Madonna, the aging pop queen, is almost at the end of the line. Go to her shows and see who her fans are: those who have supported her since the 80s. And even they admit that her music isn't what it used to be.

It was the highest grossing tour ever because Madonna was charging $250+ for a ticket. It has nothing to do with demand. In fact, the majority of her shows did not sell out.

...actually according to Billboard Magazine published concert grosses and LIVE nation the tour sold in out in every city of the tour with the exception of ONE AND ticket prices ranged from $95 to $350pretty amazing feat anyway you look at it .. ...btw what's your source if any?

I was there also... traveled 3 hours to get there, but she put on a great show and it was well worth the price and distance for seeing the most popular tour this year. PCD was good and I respect Nicole Scherzinger for singing live.
