I know what you girls are saying about the heels. However, since losing one of my feet in a motorcycle accident, and having returned to professional belly dancing on a prosthetic it is now completely apparent to me that being grounded actually comes from the pelvis and the legs follow. That is the true power house. Personally I think heels are bad for your posture, but they look good and can help to even out dancer heights within troupes! - A lot of work went into this - it shows.

What is up with the high heels?? belly dance is suppose to be done barefoot. Belly dance is a womans expression of power, love, intention, beauty, and being one with your true self. You must be grounded and truly open to exceting love and honoring all that is good, barefeet keep you connected to the earth! ... ok a lil too much thought put into that but seriously damn entrainment world, you can tell the girls are not in their complete comfort zone.

Bellegauatemalteca, let's see something better. I promise I will watch it. These shows are before a live audience and last for hours. This is just one number. This is the first time I've seen so many belly dancers performing synchronized moves. That is being a well rounded dancer, not just solo interpretation. But again, show me better, I will watch, and watch.....and watch.

I am actually quite disappointed at Jillina's skills to choreograph the show. Most of the "steps" in group performances are belly dance 101. She's wasting talented dancers. They need to reduce the length of the show or lift it up to jaw dropping. I enjoyed several individual performances, but I can't tell you a single group performance that left me O_O Overall, they should have fewer group performances or change choreograph-er (-y) to some-one (-thing) right down MIND BLOWING.
