dude im wondering what kindof awesomeness haveing a elektron next to a 909 would make.....during one loop you could be twisting drum sequences with the elek, then cut it off and only have like some heavy symbols fro the 909 with its airy and beautiful sound......then switch back to the hard and heavy sound of the digital......i think it would make a nice Gulag, how about you?
@909techno just do it! Be creative with song mode, plan a track or two and record it properly. I know that's my plan anyway ;) Long live the MDUW, the worlds best piece of musical gear!
why can't you? just imagine 3 tracks, do a render on any support (dat is the best, but you can record it on a comp, and burn a cd) an then if no label buys it, cut your own vynil, If you do a correct structure for each track, you'll sell it, at least enough copies to cover the expenses for the record. If you are not living in inner mongolia, this should be not so hard.
wow really cool sounds i was wondering though if this could make "rolling" sounds as opposed to a single hit, if you listen to the intro of 'no wow' by the kills, it has a very cool rolling bass kick i was wondering if this could do that
That drum machine is a kick ass "Elektron" handmade from Europe, you can feel the difference between Chinese crap like Korg and Roland and the fat real analog kick of the Electron. The cost of that quality is around $ 1.800.
You're using 909 samples I guess this is one of the reasonsit sounds so technolicious:-). Would love to learn more about the machines used and keep those explanatory videos coming!
such talent!
