One more thing. If you bought a nice Mercedes S550 you have a nice ride. But turn that sucker into a S63 AMG and it's like comparing a 747 to the Concorde. The only thing they have in common is they both fly... Just one is faster and is sleeker. Same goes for all the M models. If you can afford it, step up and get the real deal.

I had a 335i in 2007 and in 2009 I got a

2010 M3. OK since I speak from experience the M3 is not that much faster at all. Here is the real difference I noticed.

335i never turned heads, it never sounded so damn good, it didn't corner like the M, it doesn't look as nice nor is the 335 a total driving machine. I'm depressed to see the 8 cyl go bye bye forever. Sux!

@steverooni99 If you're buying a car to show off, then you're buying it for the wrong reasons. The M3 is so appreciated because it drives so well. Buy one for that reason, not to tell your friends you bought an M3. Better yet, buy a 335is.

This guy is an IDIOT. NO you can't order the 825W 16spkr enhanced premium sound w/out nav. Tried it. Dealer said 'no.' BMW website says 'no' too. Did he drive the M3 on the track? No DCT in the 335is? Why is it an option when you build the 335is on the website. He even says you can get it during his 335is review. Stick to the tech, stay away from cars.

@crammage Team Lotus uses a Renault 2.4L V8. This engine uses 3.5 Litres/second going 160MPH. It also puts out 750BHP, Smaller displacement, same cylinder configuration, more fuel.

3.5 Litres is enough fuel to power a Ford F-150 on the highway for 20 miles...This engine uses that EVERY SECOND...
