Based on the Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500, US car specialist GeigerCars from Munich has produced the GT640 “Golden Snake”.

The 5.4 liter V8 has gained a large 2.3 liter supercharger as well as a Geiger stainless steel sport exhaust system and an ECU update. 640hp, a 92hp increase, is now sent to the back wheels. 789Nm of torque on the crankshaft has been measured. 3.7 seconds to 100km/h and a top speed of 295km/h makes this one of the fastest Mustang’s around.

it appears to be the 2013 shelby gt500 with the 5.8 liter supercharged v8 with 650 horses..but i might be wrong...just an assumption

That isn't the newest mustang body style. And the new GT50 is just called the GT500, not the GT640. Its probably just a modified GT500 with a 5.4L supercharged V8. 500hp stock. But this could be cammed, have higher boost, less restrictive exhaust, etc.

@vette215 I'd say that's not even close. To me it looks like an '07-09 GT500 with the KR or the Super Snake kit on it and a few custom touches from the owner. The 2013 GT500 looks much different than this. Look it up on AutoBlog for yourself and you should see it right away :)

@vette215 its a 2009or earlier super snake. 2013 has a totally diff look. rear lights are way different. its specially tuned (in america that means a bigger super charger). i know its not a 2013 though. I'm canadian btw so i see em all the time

your wrong, just a normal Sn97 2008 Shelby GT-500 with add on extra's.

2013's haven't been built yet, production statt on Febuary 15 2012.

@SpotterGijs Never the less sound engeneering and backfire are closely matched. Only real backfire is a lot louder.. It is like the bang and flames you hear on WRC cars when shifting. And the best way to hear that is by search Youtube on Anti-lag system...

When a car downshifts the strain on the motor causes the load deceleration sound... its the engine braking. All American cars slow down so much when you downshift which causes the RPM's to spike at low speeds. Most Italian cars down have a lot of engine braking which is why the sound ten times better.
