I got this a few years back when it was new, as I was like 7-8, I didn't care I just wanted a Computer. Now I have upgraded it to Snow Leopard to do my stuff, I just ordered a 2GB RAM upgrade pack, and I am also going to buy Mac Lion when I get the 2GB RAM (It is needed for Lion) It is a good computer for everyday life, office work, editing photos, movies, songs its AMAZING at that, but I game a lot and it is terrible, thats why I'm getting 2GB. I would say get the new Macbook pro 2GB with Lion

I was a die-hard Windows user for 5 years. I bought this MacBook 2 months ago used (although mine is 2.0Ghz, 2.5GB RAM, and 120GB HDD) and I love it.

Once you go Mac, you never go back! Although I still own and use a crapload of PCs.
