  • GOD! I LOVED this game. . .

  • 3:06 the item getting sound is the same as the sound when you upgrade something in metroid prime xD

  • I've been playing this game a lot recently and one thing I've noticed that really bugs me is that sometimes jumping is unresponsive. Can anyone relate? Or is it just me? I've tried switching emulators and setting the jump to a different button, but I'm made to think it's just the game. I'm playing the genesis version.

  • @wurty Yeah, this game wasn't designed as a platformer, yet the developers made platforming stages...go figure. It's a bitch sometimes, I feel ya. Though ti shouldn't be bad like you say, just running around and jumping over minions is supposed to be simple.

  • oh my heck! i finally found this game! I remember playing this all the time at my grandma's house when I was 4 and couldn't read. I remember getting to a dragon and dying a lot.

  • the music is far better on the genesis version than the snes in fact its some of the best music i have ever heard for the genesis ^_^

  • I have this on my SNES and have beaten it 3 times. I had beaten the Genesis version on my PSP with a homebrew emulator durning a road trip last summer.

  • @superbenA02 Never beat it on my own. I beat Avernum, Though.

  • One of the best Genesis games... Too bad, it was never published in Europe.

  • None of Telenet's great Sega Genesis games ever made it to Europe at all.

  • You're right. It was a pity that such great games (like El Viento) never came to us. I had the chance to find (maybe) the only YS III cartridge in my town.

  • Not to mention that Europe never got to enjoy two of the greatest US release Sega Genesis shmups which are Trouble Shooter and MUSHA along with Grind Stormer.

  • i remember this game. i have it for my snes. i am wondering is this running on a genesis emulator or pc itself??

  • It's on an emulator (description says so). I'm trying it out on SNES.

  • figured..thanks

  • Ah... This game is beyond awesome.

The music makes it even better. I suggest that people try out the PC-Engine version to experience the awesome music to its fullest.

  • well said. I love the music in genesis, snes and tgfx/pce, but pce gotta be the best.

I currently have the SNES cartridge

  • Yeah the music for the PC-Engine version of this game was awesome. The PC Remake of this game which is called Oath in Felghana has a awesome soundtrack too. definitely worth a look or in this case, a listen.
