The new box for the Cherokee will have more port area with 2 subs, I'd expect 153+. This single 8 box will be worked on, no need to add another 8 as that isn't the intent of this testing.

Obviously, if an 8 in a CRX can do a 150 easy, then your 2 12's in a trunk car should do a 150 because that's giving you over 4 times the cone area to make up for the car difference of what you feel is apparently 6 dB.

If you measure the effective cone area of that particular 8, it is 6.5 inches. But, the same is said for any size sub, effective cone is actually smaller than the labeled size. Regardless, it was brought up that it's got a 6.5" cone, so doesn't that make it even MORE impressive?

This setup was tuned for outlaw. Still capable of ~148 at the dash -- frequency is 64 Hz at the dash.
