  • @spbt snyder ur a fucking idiot! i love meeting goofs like you so i can fill ur face full of fist! people like you are the first too when the time comes ha ha ha

  • And dumbass people on here saying africa does not deserve to eat! Wat the fuck is wrong with you i hope u burn with hitler!!!

  • I think all you guys should keep these beautyfull animals in the wild were they belong! This worlds animals are dying cause idiots like you keep putting them in aquariums and jars somebody should put you in ajar or tank and keep you there till u die! c how much youd like it

  • Is this one of those groupons that keep sending the offers out?

  • @cairnsmarine how long did it survive then? As you said it 'did' very well.

  • the comment that it died 1 hour later, can someone from cairnsmarine confirm if this is true

  • @megafishtank1 We have reported that comment as spam, the person that posted that comment is somewhat like a starfish, they talk out of the same orifice that also excretes bodily waste. The underwater shots were actually taken two weeks after the fish was released into the tank, the fish was in great health and did very well.

  • that thing died 1 hour after this video

  • Really a magnificent looking creature.

  • hey look... a concentration camp for fish lol

  • this fish can feed an entire african village for half a year!!!

  • @fupenjiu or, alternately it could be seen in a public aquarium by over 3 million people per year and help educate them about the wonders of our marine environment and the need to conserve them! Thanks for viewing!

  • @cairnsmarine i prefer feeding people who need to eat, rather than teaching people who DONT need to be teached.

  • @SPBTsnyder

i prefer feeding animals who need more than humans to eat rather than waster the magnificent fish to people who are not fit to eat

  • @ilovefishful who are you to say, that people are not "fit" to eat?

  • @SPBTsnyder

african should eat shit eat themselves even if i feed people i would feed america or asia cause they are much more'qualified to eat'but seriously this fish is so nice i would rather preserve it even when it dies i would still preserve it as a national heritage for the marine biologist

  • @ilovefishful racist imbecile, why would you say africans should eat shit??

  • @SPBTsnyder

i am not racist but the popuation of africa has been bomming too fast so with more food it would bloom faster thus this help to keep population under control

  • @ilovefishful No more food would to the opposite. Why do you think poorer countries has a grater puppulation increase?

  • @helmut345

is not i think you can see the news africa has the highest population to feed and thats why with more food they would bloom much much faster than what they are doing now at 'normal rate'.

  • @fupenjiu

african village should eat shit this life of the fish is so much more valuable than the africans

  • This Fish is huge.I am a fish ceeper myself this big guy does not look well ... I HOPE IT OK .... =(

  • @loonerMoonLover , Don't worry this fish was fine, the pictures of the fish from an underwater perspective was taken a couple of weeks after the initial placement in the tank and you can see that it was exhibiting normal colouration at this point.

  • @loonerMoonLover no worriers, it was in a temporary state of shock. It should be better now.

  • I live there :P (the city)

  • wow... and i thought trasporting huge coi was hard...

  • At Yeppoon small ones of these are caught all the time, but they call them cod, so they kill and eat them. So sad.

  • So how did the acclimation go? We have the same tanks at SARDI (South Australian Research and Development Institute) Aquatic Sciences. The animal look fairly stressed (as expected); how long did it take to calm down?

  • @Fishlova82 These guys settle realy quickly and this one was realxed on the boat prior to being released in the facility. The underwater tank shots were a week after release into the tank and the colour and behaviour are typical of QLD Grouper. I don't believe that it was stressed as it was already feeding! Let us know if there is ever anything we can do to help at SARDI!
