In 2008, I think it was, I saw this exact number played this exact same way by Guy and the band, at the Cape Cod Melody Tent, in Hyannis. When the other guitar player stepped out to solo, I knew he was going to spin his axe, because I'd seen him do it before.

Guy the Virtuoso shows here that he is also Guy the Entertainer, on a level with all of the greats, in any style.

I understand completely why Clapton loves him, reveres him, and is (slightly) intimidated by him.

They love "unexposed" talent. they say they thrive off of it and it keeps old legends like them going because they want to see people get the opportunity to jam from the heart and not from a book...... @megajames3000 We jammed for about an hour. Try to figure out what Hotel they are staying in. Depending on the venue they might do a jam session at the hotel. It also depends on what time it is. if it is later at night they will probably do the jam session. if it is earlier in the day when it gets over they might have to leave(depending on their schedule) But if they stick around for a while just throw self on them (not in a weird way of course) Let them know how much it will mean to you play.
