Most sites that contain value targets often contain so much iron many detectors spend too much time ignoring the iron and missing targets! The lobo has a fast recovery rate in iron Infested area like Roman and Celtic Romano sites. With the 10x12 DD coil and a service tune matching the coil you can expect this detector 2 go deep like Minelabs. I have a gpx 5000 and many good such trashy sites so I always take the Lobo. Minelab do have some of the best detectors in the world, eg gpx5000

The Lobo is if used right (Balanced right) and with a good coil not the crap one on this one can beat most detectors at finding the goodies. The speaker should be upgraded as I did too mine see a local electrical shop and ask for a decent speaker if your not using headphones. Though a good set of headphones the sounds are far better. Get a 10x12 DD coil and if using Discrim use no more than 3-4. I have used many detectors in my time and the lobo has been up there with my GPX 5000 for finds.

yea easy people we all started somewere. when i search i picture all the coins that i would miss due to my hasty forward speed, look at gaps in search patern here! slow walking speed to increase finds and set yourself a small patch to concentrat on so you dont get dreded detecting mist and march off up the field in search of gold. hehe, na really no one wrong in this hobbey just vairing degrees of sucess come with years in the field. ill leave you with the saying. if in doubt dig it out.
