Not insulting this guy for being big, but those knives are junk in the hard use. They have some that can be used on game, but nothing that can be used to chop/split/batoning.

Just saying, you should just save your money on you next low carbon blade , and get a blade that will withstand the hard hits in warm and cold weather.

See... i've tried many (ok fine, most) of these knives. They make great show knives "hey look i can cut my way out of a helicopter with my knife!"

But when you actually want to use them for the sort of thing you'd want to use a knife for - you see they begin to be lacking.

The best knife you have in there IMO is the one in D2.

why do you recommend carbon over the stainless? In my experience, a high carbon stainless (ats34 in particular, or similar) proves easy to sharpen with great edge holding ability as well as resistance to moisture and corrosion. Not asking with attitude, just curious.
