  • I like this guy, I'd vote for him.

  • My machine gun's name is Sarah, I like to polish her everyday while watching Jerry Springer and dowing a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and keep an eye and taking notes on my godless liberal neighbors.

  • ok gisforgary- all semantics, no straight up or down answer.

Either you believe in the rights of citizens to bear arms, as laid out for us by our Founding Fathers, or you dont.

And dont give me the crap about "assault" weapons...Thats just a phony BS term popularized during the Clinton era to scare soccer moms.

  • bucs

Libs are so hypocritical when it come's to GUNS!

Look at ANY of your HOLLYWIERD celebritards. They ALL have em.

I guess THATS OK because they are FAMOUS.

Make's THEM more important than the REST OF US.

    Right?

  • Right...LOL

Because we know all these shootings we see and hear about in the ghetto slums are being committed by those evil Christian NRA members!! LOL

  • "Hi, I'm a gun nut, I want my own militia...I mean, I want to run the SC National Guard. Because I want to prepare for Bachmann's armed uprising...I mean, to defend the citizens. Damn. I always say the wrong stuff. Can we start over?"

I would have asked him about the targets he signed. How many Obama targets, dude? Were those the ones you thought were so awesome?"

SC deserves this guy if they vote for him.

  • This guy is awesome, he would have my vote!

I can just imagine all the anti-2nd amendment pussies quaking in their boots when he wins this election.

  • Damn, bucs, there are A Lot of anti-gun pussies on here. They actually think that more gun control=less crime.

They'll be wishing for a gun, when they find themselves on the wrong end of one!

I'm keeping my guns! And getting more ever chance I get.

"Will Work for Weapons" That's how I got the last two.

  • Amen brother.

We will NEVER relinquish our 2nd amendment rights.

  • And for at least a few hours this thread will float on the +thumbs up side... until those wanking strip the victim of defence bootlickers come along.

You know the ones, they take the Stalin quote and reverse the context.

As Stalin is reputed to have said: You'll get a lot further with a soft word and a gun than just a soft word.

As if those of us who would defend against Stalin's gun were making the original threat. Total cognitive dissonance. It's frustrating talking to ppl who aren't rational.

  • Guns are for shows.

    Knives are for pros.

  • I love my knives, also.

  • Forks kill people.. that justifies guns.. then why stop at just guns (and just a personal level?), why not let every country have a nuclear weapon?? why oppose that?

  • What is the big damn deal about guns? They exist, we can have them, please get over it. God I hate people who bitch about guns. People kill people. Last time I checked an inanimate object couldn't pick itself up and kill something.

  • Then here's a question...

Why are the Gun PEOPLE talking like they're going to kill PEOPLE lately ?

  • I agree, inanimate objects don't kill people... but what baffles me is the hypocrisy of gun-supporters who at the same time oppose other countries having nuclear weapons.

  • You have a point lol.

  • another emptyheaded hick

  • As a Canadian, I am glad we don't have the Second Amendment with gun totting nuts.

  • Wow...Canada...not much to say there..

  • oh, wait... he's from SC, I get it now.

  • I'm a lib and I would go to an event like this. Would be fun to unload some heavy weapons.

  • I'm a pretty liberal, left wing kind of guy but I AM a supporter of the rights outlined in the 2nd Am. My first thought was 'sounds like a good time'.

My second thought was 'our troops (with a few exceptions) don't even get fully automatic weapons and they fight wars.'

  • he was a very pleasant gentleman

  • Did I hear civilians and live ammo in the same sentence?

  • I'm glad MSNBC was respectful to that man. he seemed very gentlemanly.

  • Got to love the South.

  • fucking a

  • "The most important amendment to the constitution..."

has anyone looked at murder rates in the US? What a twat.

  • hahaahahhaha! "G'd afternoon mam" lol looooool :D

  • omg, this is like a perfect storm. the south is off the hinges. let's all put crazies in charge of the national gaurd.

  • this guy is a retard. he didn't have the presence of mind to wash his f*cking hair before appearing on TV? this right wing nut is visibly filthy

  • someone should shut this redneck up by shooting him in the fucking head.

  • I'm not sure what to think of this...

  • The 2nd amendment isn't the most important. If it were, it would be the 1st amendment.

  • i'd like to interject something here, first off a gun is a tool like any other. second if civillians are not allowed to own guns then what happens if goverment becomes tyrannical? how do you defend yourself and get back your freedoms? there are pros and cons to guns but i for one am for citizens being able to own guns.

  • civil disobedience.

    duh.

  • what in the fuck just happened?

So, South Carolina is the only state where its backwards hicks can elect the General of its National Guard.

And, the person running is holding AK-47 semi raffles to raise money for his bid / campaign...

Is that about right? Can't we just agent orange the entire state and start over?

  • Bring it on bootlicker.

  • "we got some pretty good targets"? $20 says there are some that he would not risk talking about on CNN, what could a gun obsessed, militant neocon be dreaming of shooting?

  • Dumbass!

  • is that limbaugh jizz in his stache or just leftover oysters from April?

Old gay pornstars never die -- they just become south carolina politicians.

  • hilarious

    bc it's true

    SC is ass-backwards

must see - health care hypocrisy in SC

    see youtube video:

    /watch?v=oIihBgxa6GQ

    peace!

  • well we have to draw line somewhere, do citizens have rights to own cannon, atombomb, chemical weapons, sinko etc. I think it's fair that machine guns are banned, what for would you need them anyway

  • I hunt moose with my machine gun. Don't tread on me!

  • If you were attacked by 50 mooses at once.

  • Freedom of Speech, okay. Free press, okay but not that important. Freedom to express any religion, thats just alright. Freedom of assembly, thats not that important. The most important freedom is being able to own a gun? Its scary that people actually believe that.

  • Not to mention that there are many countries that are perfectly free and have strict gun laws.

  • LoL - Americans still think they have rights..... HaHaHaHa..... YOU DON'T

. If you don't agree with me... take a look the G20 summit videos.

  • they arent rights they are temporary privileges

and privileges can be taken away at any time

yeh they believe they have rights its funny

  • He looks and sounds exactly like I thought he would.

  • like hes got a mouth full of shit

  • my rich uncle, who is a millionaire and a Deacon at his very Baptist Church, recently told me, loudly, a very racist joke in a restaurant full of black people, then zipped over to his church for evening services.

    that's South Carolina for you.

hypocrisy, poor logic, and hatred, beneath a veneer of self-righteous cordiality.

    it's queasifying.

  • Is quesifying a word? If it's not, it should be.

  • the most important right is NOT the right to bare arms.

    STUPID

  • what a well spoken robot! SC is full of nuts and bolts

  • Look at how Obama has robbed these poor rednecks of their 2nd amendment rights!

  • Wow - so much bad publicity for South Carolina. I love Charleston and friends like to golf at Hilton Head, but seriously - the right wing nuts there are frightning.

    I'm staying away..

  • Yee haw!

  • AK-47??? Guess who's the real commie....

  • The most important right is to bear arms?

    Wow, thats quite a statement.

  • yes it is

i guess the other option is arming bears

  • If we outlaw bears, only outlaws will have bears.

  • Bravo sirs.

  • yeeee haaaa....(screaming this as i shoot my finger pistols in the air)

  • "The most important right is the right to bear firearms."

    Really??

Then what happened to "freedom, justice and the right to pursue happiness"?

  • With the right to bear arms the government is obligated to serve the people. Without the 2nd amendment all other amendments are unenforceable.

  • On paper that sounds good but the reality is that there are many many countries (most western democracies in fact) where the right to bear arms is seriously curtailed and yet their citizens are no less free than in the US.

Given that it's a stretch to say that these rights are unenforceable.

Someone once observed (i forget who)that in the US people are afraid of the government while in some countries (like France) the government is afraid of the people. Which is better? Who has most control?

  • Sounds good on paper?

It has *worked well in practice* for more than 200 yrs.

And the quote sounds like something James Madison would have said. To paraphrase, Tis better the government fear it's ppl than the ppl fear their government.

France is often given as an example of a government that "fears it's people" having given in to so many demands of raucous protestations in the street.

  • You do realize the government is only given power by the consent of its collective people.

  • yeah, but arent't the french denegrated as "socialists" by the right?

  • isn't everyone but the hard core right a socialist in their eyes?

I don't enjoy stereotyping the conservatives like that but if the right wing media is any indication whatever moderates there are in the party are being crushed by the extremes.

  • And France has much heavier gun restrictions then we do. You can make a point without using deadly weapons.

  • But can you defend yourself from retribution for holding those points of view?

    Tnx for making my point.

France has one the heavier tax burdens on the average citizen yet so many hold that the government "fears" it's citizenry. I don't buy it. It may be held up as an example, but that doesn't make it valid. How can the gov be so "fearful" when it takes the living shit out of the peasantry?

  • Gotta luv catching typos after hitting the Post button

How the gov be so fearful when it TAXES the living shit out of the peasantry?

  • from those taxes they get universal healthcare... social services... popper public transport, and even work less.. most french job are 32 hour jobs in stead of 40. Hell i would even pay more taxes for that

  • robinvan, could you have strayed any further from liberty?

Not only do you want to take an effective means to defend oneself from violent attack you also want to nationalize most of private industry.

Geez, ya think maybe that's why it's called Socialism?

I should give up the ability to choose among competing providers because you refuse to be burdened by making choices for yourself?

No wonder there's so much protest in the streets of France. They gave up being able to vote w/purchasing power.

  • the only protest in France are about 40 hour working weeks and raising the age to go into pension from 55 to 65 and that subsidies for agriculture gets to be less

yeah .... that is really a big protest. besides change power with their vote not with guns. and WTF are you talking about... france has nothing more nationalised that any other countries they don't even have a nationalised car company nor a bank

  • maybe it because the "peasantry" pays them, rather than huge profit-based multinational corporations *cough* REPUBLICANS *cough*

  • With all due respect... That's bollocks!!

Many countries have freedom without a second amendment... It is not necessary for a working democracy...

  • There is a reason the founders put the 2nd amendment in the constitution; in every single instance in history where one group allocates defense to another it has led to a tyranny. Look at Switzerland, heavy armed [for centuries], heavily free [for centuries].

We don't need it right now because tyranny doesn't happen during prosperity, only in adverse conditions. WHEN adverse conditions fall upon the west, gun rights will be worth their weight in gold.

  • Excuse me, but it tends not to be *available* in democracies Joddit. So I am thankful I live in a Republic.

Pray I am never at the mercy of *majority rule*

commonly known as the mob. I can't pin it down but I prefer equal treatment under Rule of Law. Democracy has always devolved into Rule by whoever has the greater number class members.

  • So how are these conspiracy theories working out for you??

  • You'll know how it all works soon enough there Joddit ... the equivalent of Morons like yourself in the period of the birth of our country would be the bitches that remained in Europe, too stupid and too afraid to claim was was rightfully theirs.

  • That's very civil of you!! Just patronize and or offend anyone who disagrees with you...

    How very American!!

  • Ahhh ... and how Netherlandian of you being the bitch you are now ... lol

  • "Netherlandian"?? Haha!!

    Who's stupid now??

    You're hopeless, goodbye!!

  • I hear ya, I'm disgusted with those on both sides of this discussion who resort to ad-hominem and personal attacks.

There are reasonable points to both sides of this issue I'm sure. Only wish they would be brought out and all these grade school level pissing contest get left back on the playground where they belong.

  • ?

Did you miss History lessons in School, or did you skip School?

I'm at loss to comprehend your question.

Tell ya what, you get a dictionary and an encyclopedia out. Find the definitions for Democracy and Republic. Compare and contrast them by finding example nations of each, concise histories will found in that encyclopedia. Come back when you find a democracy, not a republic, that allowed unfettered ownership of arms by the general population. Good Luck!

  • Why don't you get a dictionary instead?? Republic and Democracy are not mutually exclusive.. It's like you're saying "I'm glad I've got a blue car, in stead of one with powersteering."

    You're arrogance is somewhat misplaced...

  • Comment removed

  • Oh... And er... I've got a newsflash for you...

If indeed you live in the US, you live in a democracy... A representative democracy...

  • the most important right we have is to non stop mcdonalds and starbucks. this guy has his fereeeedums mixed up bad.

  • I hate it when my sister walks around the house naked

  • The most important right we have is to bear arms?! No I'm sorry the most important right we have is implicit in the consitution, it is of the free mind. We need to understand that the greatest democratic component we have is the book. Social mobility only began existing in society when knowledge was no longer limited to the aristocratic- noble heritage, it was spurred instantaneously with the advent of the printing press.

  • The right to bear arms is our most important right?? Interesting...

  • You gotta love real southerners.

  • sounds like a good time

  • did he say that america is a free country, wtf it´s anything but free

  • Ah, the other america... where they still think america is held together by mutual paranoia and guns. Thank god this is a dying minority, but poor SC. I'm sure there are some good people there... just stuck in the insanity and backward-ass culture.

  • You illiterate, liberal, secularist, piece of pacifist shit. If you can't take care of yourself you are a slave. Men take care of themselves and their famlites, pussies count on the government to do if for them. Let me know when you grow a few.

  • What the Hell are famlites? Is that some sort of World of Warcraft thing?

Try to stay on subject, you big fat nerd!

  • lol familiar is a term for a demons pet haha maybe thats what he meant

I play wow just had to mention that haha

  • LIBERAL:

Not limited to established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.

Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress & tolerant of the ideas & behavior of others; broad-minded.

willing or marked by a willingness to give unstintingly.

if ur the opposite of that, then u suck.

  • most important right people have is a right to keep and bear arms??? wtf!? guns before freedom of speech or freedom of religion? guns before peaceable assembly? have they not read the REST of the constitution or is the 2nd amendment the only one that really matters?

  • it is important cause they think the government is out to get them...

  • It's important cuz that's how you defend all the other Rights.

  • I don't really have any particular beef with the second amendment, but there's never been a situation in this country where it has inarguably been used to defend any other right.

The first amendment, on the other hand...

  • ummm... just off the top of my head

    American Revolution

    Civil War

The standoff in NH that kept Ed Brown out of unlawful detention from at least end of Apr '07 til Oct '07

Every burglar or robber who's been stopped in their tracks and turned "honest" at the sight of a gun barrel staring them in the face.

Yes, arms and the right to keep and bear arms has served us well for a very long time.

  • So you're argument is that because guns make it easier to kill people, they've solved our problems for us?

  • Excuse you?

    Histrionic much?

Often the mere presence of formidable defence will put attackers at bay. Do you find it offensive when others have the ability to defend themselves from violent attack? How very odd. Unless you are the attacker.

  • In their minds maskedphrogg, guns are never used for defense. To a liberal, guns represent only violent crime. I don't know what it is... a failure of the imagination I guess.

  • Oh thats right, guns can only shoot people you need to "defend" yourself against. They can't go off accidentally in a large crowd and accidentally kill someone. Asshat.

  • What are you trying to say? That accidents happen? I think I'll agree with you there.

But what does that have to do with guns?

If you say, "If there were no guns there would be no gun accidents," I could just as easily say the same thing about cars and chainsaws.

If you say, "Guns can be used in crimes," again I can say the same thing about cars and chainsaws.

And why call me an asshat? Do you gain internet points for insulting people? What happened to civility, yo?

  • .. you're an idiot.. no really.

  • yes except chainsaws usually arent carried through large crowds, and i do think its illegal to drive a car thro a large crowd as well. The point is, u vaginal belch, that a gun rally makes just about as much sense as playing hide and seek in a minefield. y don't u use your brain, what little scraps god gave u that is.

  • 'The point is that a gun rally makes just about as much sense as playing hide and seek in a minefield.'

How so? Can you explain your reasoning? No one got hurt at that rally, and no one was ever in danger.

And again with the insults... why? Can't we have a civil discussion without childish name calling?

  • No, we can't, because you are an illogical idiot. Just because u played hide and seek in a minefield and no one got blown up, doesnt mean its a good idea to play there tomorrow. GUNS ARE WEAPONS. u can use them for your protection but only AS a WEAPON. A large group bristling with guns and a low iq is not a good combination. If one person in the crowd had a gun they have the potential to kill about as many people as they have bullets. And you want to create a crowd where everyone has guns? sigh

  • Just because you're in a crowd of people who all have guns doesn't mean there is going to be a shoot out. This is not the old west so you can come back to the present now. They're coming together for their love of guns. Everyone has the potential to kill, you don't need a gun for that. Do you realize how many ways there are to kill a human? You could be killed with a damn fork! Should we stop using them to eat?

  • Its slightly more difficult to kill someone with a fork then a gun. AND its amazingly difficult to kill someone with a fork ACCIDENTALLY. Do you morons even listen to yourselves? You cant assume someone isn't going to make use of a DEADLY weapon against a large crowd of people who are STUPID enough to start firing back to defend themselves. Bullets KILL PEOPLE! Fairly easily too, u twat.

  • "They're coming together for their love of guns"

that makes about as much sense as people coming together for their love of Molotov cocktails u asshat.

  • word!

  • Listen here you no account rude ass yankee cunt...you need to watch your damn mouth. People kill people you dumbass and that was what i was getting at but you yankees are so full of yourselves that you can't read between the fucking lines. You are so biased and closed minded that you'll condemn and insult anyone that's apart of it. If I had a gun I'd sooner hit you in the face with than actually shoot you. Although I'd be tempted to after your insults. I didn't insult you to begin with you fag.

  • wow -- our little georgia peach is going for the princess potty mouth 2010 tiara. don't worry babes -- god will have bigger tiaras for you in heaven.

  • that guys insults were uncalled for...so instead of judging me, maybe you should have read the whole conversation to understand why I was so offended.

  • You're so incredibly rude. There is nothing wrong with having a rally for something that you like. We do have the freedom to do stuff like that. So you can take you biased opinion and fuck your mom with it because regardless we can still go to the store and buy a gun and there's nothing you can do about it lol.

  • yea, sure to win supporters w/arguments like that.

Nothing quite like lowering oneself to the level of grade school bullies.

  • I wasn't trying gain supporters, that would require me to care about what the people on here think. Since I don't..I feel at liberty to say what I want and let you all make your assumptions on what kind of person I am. Everyone's a critic.

  • Why would you speak in public if you don't desire to be heard?

Not only have you damaged your own argument you do damage to others who hold similar or the same views. You are not an island. What you say and do does impact others. If you won't be respectful of others how can you expect others to respect you?

I do know how tempers can flare and unwise words get spoken. No personal attack, just a friendly bit of advice for future reference.

  • I don't require the respect of random biased critics on a youtube video. Although, I do respect and understand what you're trying to say. Thanks for your civility it is very much appreciated.

  • You're quite welcome, so very glad the message I intended seems to be the one received.

I find no error in the views you hold, only in the manner they were expressed.

Hope your weekend is as enjoyable as the one that seems to be shaping up for me.

  • Thank you..you too.

  • monk, I have a Conceal Carry Permit. I have carried a gun for over 17 years. My gun has never hurt a soul. Thank God I've not had to use it, but if I am in the crowd with that one person you were talking about, I could defend me and a few others.

In 1983 Kennesaw, Ga. made every head of household keep a firearm and ammo in their home. Crime Dropped 89% in one year. Don't tell me more guns=more crime.

I'm waiting to see how much crime drops in D.C. since they can have guns now.

  • "my gun has never hurt a soul"

    spoken like a true sociopath

a sane person would say, "I have never hurt a soul with my gun"

Besides personifying deadly weapons, you state a case that is a known example of a blatant manipulation of data by Gary Kleck, a criminologist and gun-control critic. The FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting data, found instead a small, statistically insignificant increase in burglaries after the law was passed. Nice try asshat, i wouldn't expect anything less from a hick.

  • Hick?!? Actually, it's Hickman! Get it right! Dick.

As for your sociopath BS, The argument from the pussies is, guns kills people. Guns don't kill people. I do, if the need arises.

I do not know Kleck, so you are as misinformed as the rest of your worthless statement. You can believe All the lies you want, You will NEVER take my guns! So deal with it!

  • Lol Hickman, you are obviously the mayor of crazytown. Your statement was sociopathic, take it or leave it. The fact that you treat the taking of human life with such commonality again shows that you are a sociopath. The fact that u don't know kleck is irrelevant, that is who published the facts that you were using, which btw, are fictitious. Actually, since the mentally ill cannot possess a firearm, i can take ur gun whenever i want to. Retarded doesn't even come close to ur level of stupidity.

  • If the "human" life that you are talking about, has no more concern for My life, why should I be concerned about his/hers? I don't know what is going thru the mind of a criminal. If I feel an innocent person's life is in danger, I will react. Even if it is your worthless ass that is the victim.

BTW, do some research, and you will find Kennesaw's site. Which is just a reference. Their law has no affect on me, anyway.

So, if you want to come and take my guns, you can have them, bullets first.

  • You are making assumptions and then acting on those assumptions. You are mentally incapable of argument. Id have more luck reasoning with a rock. I hope you accidentally shoot yourself with one of those guns, preferably in your tiny dick.

  • monk, What assumptions am I making? Just b/c You don't agree with my side, doesn't mean I'm incapable of argument. It just means you are incapable of understanding, dick.

  • Alright, what did you do? Sounds to me like Cupcake is going to throw you in the doghouse.

  • I've been in worse.

  • LMFAO @ the idea of charbroiled (or any lib pansy) trying to take Hydra's (or any American's gun)

Char- "hey, gimme that gun, you racist right wing hatemonger retard!!"

Hydra- "Pow" Right hand to Chars jaw

    "Head hits concrete-Thud"..End of discussion

  • Nooooo! You'll give it all away before we've finished planning! Keep it secret, keep it safe...

  • You're the repugnant monkey that is unwilling to use rational argument.

    Ad-hominem has it's place.

    The playground in grade school.

I'm just waiting for Godwin's Law to come into play, this thread has devolved further and further from civil debate from day 1.

  • Maybe if your inexperienced hands were holding it...

... and I've always been under the impression monkeys WERE trainable.

what a paranoid you are. For every gun death in the US there are @ least 10 who die as a direct result of the misuse of motored vehicles. I bet you're not scared of them though. Fancy that.

  • I don't disagree. But keep in mind folks like Barbara Boxer of Calif who leaves home with armed body guards to pass legislation limiting the ability of her constituents to keep and bear defensive arms. It is also about disarming citizens not just criminals.

  • a gun is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, quickly resorted to by small minds that can't formulate good arguments for logically untenable positions. often preceded by inflammatory and demonizing ad hominem rhetoric, of the same sort seen at the buffoon gatherings on 9/12.

    guns are gay.

    (no offense to gays)

    ;-)

    peace to ALL.

    VIVA OBAMA!

  • Half of the examples you presented are nothing more than selfish masturbatory fantasies, which dash any potential legitimacy in the other half.

  • And the point of you leaving this comment was..?

  • The Commander of the Japanese military was reported to say that the only reason Japan did Not want to invade the continental US, is because the citizens have guns. Not just the military. If it weren't for the militia, we would be under England rule, now.

  • I'd find your fanciful claim about the commander of the Japanese military believable if you'd bothered to come up with at least one name. I'd also take your defense of militias more seriously if you'd come up with a more recent justification for them.

  • I can't remember Every name I hear. Especially a Japanese name. I don't need to justify militias.

The 2nd Amendment tattooed on my arm doesn't need justification, just compliance.

  • Then let me put it this way: Your statement regarding the Japanese military is factually incorrect.

Your 'compliance' statement is like a giant irony cupcake stuffed with creamy vanilla irony and comically thrown into the face of irony itself.

  • If it is incorrect, it was bad info. But since you weren't there, you can neither confirm nor deny with any accuracy. You believe your lies, and I'll believe mine.

None of that changes the fact that you don't like me having a gun. But, I do, so deal with it, cupcake.

  • Actually, yes, I can accurately deny what you said. It's one of the many benefits of actually learning about something before you talk about it. There are multiple layers of factual incorrectness in your claim.

You can snuggle your guns all you want, but if you have to resort to fallacies to defend your positions, you should probably reconsider your tactics. It's not doing you any favors.

  • None of that matters. Forget I said it, if you are going to get your panties in a wad, cupcake.

It still does not change the fact that your info has absolutely No affect. I don't Need to defend my position. I can still snuggle to my guns, in case I need to defend my life. Besides, my wife and two little ones, love to target practice. I bough each girl a rifle on their 7th B-days. And my wife adores her .357 Magnum. Is that wrong?

  • Now you are trying to back away from your fallacy with tough talk and melodrama.

The Hell of it is that there are certainly logical and sensible ways to defend the 2nd amendment, but they will never be spoken by you.

  • By me, yes. To you, no.

  • Actually if it wasn't for the french, we would be under English rule now. The importance of militias in the American Revolutionary war paled in comparison to the French assistance through monetary contributions, for supplies, and directly through the french navy. Also, that Japanese Commander was really afraid of guns huh? Its a wonder they fought the americans at all, seeing how our military also carried "guns". ROFL. Ur attempts at argument are pitiful.

  • +1 for a weak attempt of civil debate. Lost it at the end, but the intro is the kind of thoughtful responce I seek and was sure you were capable of just unwilling to show previously.

  • monk, The militia is an important part of our nation's history. Who are You to say I can't have guns? Nobody!

Our military has guns, this is true, but the military is also bound by The Geneva Convent and rules of engagement. Citizens are not. They knew we didn't have to abide by rules of war! Shoot now, ask questions later!

  • in other words, they think it is important bc they are paranoid fools

  • I carry a gun. What do I have to be paranoid about?

I can't argue with a criminal holding a gun. And when Seconds count, cops are just Minutes away. I'm not going to depend on a cop being Everywhere I am. But my Taurus and his 10 .45 HYDRASHOK friends, are Always on my side!

  • I would challenge all the leftists on this page,to answer one question. (putting aside whether or not you like the idea of what this SC candidate did with his fundraiser)...Do you believe in the

    2nd Amendment?

Straight yes or no answer. No semantics.

  • Beliefs are for your religion. Is the second ammendment your religion?

We have a second ammendent which gives you to bear arms, i don't have to believe in it because it exists. Rights come with responsibilities. Guns at political events is irresponisible. Actually its a lot more than irresponsible.

If you want to really overthrow the government then go for it.

The real argument is about assult rifles -- not the 2nd ammendment. You know that as well as I do.

  • We don't want to overthrow the govt,. We want our rights to be respected. And our lives. There is nothing wrong with a citizen to legally carry a gun, anywhere! I respect the law, and I do not carry in banks, govt owned bldgs, etc. But other BS "Gun Free Zones" are dumb.

The real argument is not assault rifles. If I, a legal citizen wants one, why can't I have one?

I don't need one, but I Will have one. I don't need my other guns, But I will keep them.

Don't punish me, b/c of criminals!

  • Ignore charbroiledmonk103, He's a rude judgemental cunt that deserves to be shot since he's such a pussy when it comes to guns.

  • Georgia, It's none of my business what they think of me. I just like shooting down their weak attempts to justify gun control.

  • most important my ASS

  • American culture never fails to alarm.

  • What is alarming about this?

  • I've know some really nice folks from SC

unfortunately there's also lotsa clowns like this gun-totin- fool
