wow,I just read my post a month ago it sounded muddled. What I meant was,you can make the change to C-G-C-G etc.,faster if you fret G with the third finger on the fifth string,second fret,fourth finger on sixth string,third fret and fifth finger on first string, third fret. Then fret C the usual way.

Then just barely lift your first finger (to get ready for the C chord while you're strumming G),and the fifth finger (to get ready for G when you're strumming the C). Just takes practice,'cause we all learn to fret G the other way.
