He's right, but ONLY because this remix doesn't do "Superstition" much justice, not because remixers should leave Stevie alone.

The remix is OKAY, but doesn't do what Todd's "Can't Help It" remix did - which is SOMEHOW not take anything away and yet (again...) somehow ADD some formless, intangible beauty to the original. Not apparent with this remix, IMO. Good for the DJs, I s'pose, but doesn't retain the original "it" factor.

I'm not tryin' to act like people would be run of the floor once it dropped. I'm just sayin' I know some club folk are REAL particular about specific edits, but many aren't. I assume getting a good reaction has more to do with alcohol, a noticeable track being played by a loved-by-many artist, and the fact that people are there to have a good time than it is because you played this -specific- edit. I'm thinkin' you'd probably get the same reaction had you played the original.
