  • if you could add a fire retardant foam to the mix then you will buy yourself more protection, Something worth looking into.

  • Yes, my site refers and recommends exactly this... F-500 is by far the most superior... followed by 'Barracade' fire gel that actually sticks to the threatened exposure. Have a happy and Safe Holiday season!

3 w's period hftfirebuster period com ...its all right there! Cheers

  • I would dive in to the pool not empty it

  • thats it, great idea, mate i would buy one ..."chechnya" what are u gonna do if u have a fire like ours in australia where firefighters cant be evrywhere @ once, and thousands of people are being killed in their own homes because the fires are moving @ OVER 120 Km/ph?

  • So you're going to sit there and try to stop a wildfire that is 30 foot high traveling at a high rate of speed with limit gasoline and water supplies? This product is for people who want to play fireman but it actually very dangerous. Do you REALLY think that tiny pump will stop a wildfire near your house? Get real.

  • ur an idiot m8. come to australia! see our fires! for some people, this is all we can do! some towns have only 1 fire appliance for a town of upto 200 people! what are they gonna do? people here have saved their houses by doing this! if you have a house with roof sprinklers of a combination of impulse and butterfly sprinklers, fire hoses, a diesel fire pump and an independant water supply of at least 22,000 litres, you can save you house to!

  • @chechnya., Totally agree, I was once burning off on my property, had a light cotton shirt on and overalls, the amount of heat generated from the 2-3 meters flames was more than I expected. Whilst I had adequate pumps and water for the burn-off it was a real wake up call, the heat and danger that would be present on a bad fire danger day would be too much for my liking. My tip, get a sprinkler system turn it on before the fire comes, and get out early, your life is more important than your home

  • Or let the professionals do their job. Is it worth staying at your home to risk dying from a fire death?

  • Precisely! ...but give the home owner a weapon to pretreat the area around their home with the near endless supply of water from their pool before the evacuation order is given... and provide a reliable system fire fighters can use as the fire approaches without tying up their fire engine... thus freeing up limited valuable resources to protect other homes in the same neighborhood.
