  • Mini ATCs needed now in that building for the cessnas lol rly great vids man very intelligente with helis mobos and all keep it up

  • Thanks very kindly

  • I loved your clip. Not only are your cam shots excellent, but your sound effects and your sense of humour made it all the more enjoyable... especially after a very stressful day at work. Thank-you.

  • Thank you. That is very kind of you to say. Regards.

  • what would be the best 3 channel helicopter for a beginner and can actually be flown in a living room?

  • The all around best is the Blade MCX, but is 4 channel.

  • Nice work keep it up.

  • Thanks kindly.

  • I'm new to this hobby and it's great to see older folks enjoy this as well as the younger ones. Me being one of the older ones. Hope to fly as good as Dave someday.

  • Thanks very kindly. Have fun and you will stay young.

  • Great vid. What was the electric control line model, and where can it be purchased?

  • I will have to find out for sure, but I think they got it at Toys r us. I have seen it recently fly again just last week and it really cranks, if you whip it... LOL

  • Yep, Cool.

  • thats a long trip sibley is near the north iowa border isn't it.

  • North Eastern corner.

  • 5 stars and a favriote

  • Thanks.

  • i wonder if the lama v4 co axle is any good?

  • They are excellant and less money than the Blade, because they use FM radios, which is really no problem.

  • Is that a mini cessna?

  • Yes. See my video review on it for more.

  • I used a drop of Amazing Goop on mine. Ace hardware sells it. Amaginggoop(.)com. You don't need it if you don't crash, by the way.

  • Thank you so much. I can sart flying my little plane soon again!

  • do you know if donovans sells any t -28s??

  • Not sure. Just give em a call on their 800 #. Ask for Becky.

  • hey dave how did u get the 3d banner on top of ur name?? Anyways im thinking of getting an easystar or a cessna 210. If i have enough money i will buy a easystar if i dont ill get a mini cessna

  • I made a .gif file, then uploaded it in my account options, where it says "Branding Options".

  • hey dave,do you know any place i can find a battery and charger for a full size storm launcher? because i bought a storm launcher the other day. but it was the kind that didnt come with the battery and i can not find the battery/charger in any stores. thanks

  • Hi, do you have john donovam's email adress?? My dad wont let me call up the store from here in england:(

  • Yes, I will pm it to you, because it wont show up in here.

  • Hey Dave! I was watching your Parkzone Cessna 210 videos the other day and I was wondering how I can get one. I know you already replied to my other comment, but I live in Las Vegas, will the shipping still be free and the plane will get a discount? I really like the Cessna and I think it will be a fun plane. Please respond as soon as you can. If I can't get the discount, I will look for another hobby store near me. Thanks!

  • I think shipping is still Free to anywhere in the USA from Donovans. I don't know about any other discounts, as this was a while a go when I got mine. Best to call them and find out. The Toll free number is in the video.

  • hey dave in may im thinking of getting a new heli ..i can comfortably fly the blade cx2..do you think im ready for a honey bee?

  • Well if you never crash the CX2, you are probably ready.

  • That is cool, can't wait till' spring comes around so the weather's better for flying. Those Blade cx 2s look really cool.

  • what battery does the cp-2 have?

  • Lipo, 11.1 V. 1000 MAH, 3 cells.

  • man you guys have alot of snow over there. i live in wyoming and almost all of ours has melted.

  • Want some..?? LOL!

  • Which copter did mr. donovan use?

  • He flew the Blade CX2 and one of the Cessna's.

  • great dave

  • Thanks

  • man Dave, I wish I lived in a place where people were as interested in flying as me. it seems like Iam the only person in the city that flies heli's and planes.

  • Same here, you have to go out and drum up interest. I sure have.

  • Hey Dave, Just a question here.

Is it ok to fly Helis with your thumb or do you have to hold each stick with 2 fingers?

  • do what works better for you. i prefer holding each stick with 3 fingers.(thumb, middle- and indexfinger)

  • All the best heli pilots fly the left stick pinched. You will have way better control, when it becomes important, as that is the most important stick since it is moving ALL the time, even in hover. Get used to doing that now, and it will pay off in the end. Right stick is okay with just the thumb. So obviously, I prefer it pinched as you can see me and others are doing to.

  • Love the sound effects Dave lol

Guess it was fun but not as excitingn as hoped ?

Still good laugh and a bit of flying space to play in

  • Yep, well out here, we take what we can in the winter to pass some fun. I spend more time teaching and fixing folks helis there than flying it seems as they are all beginners.

  • what was the heli that came after the cp2?

  • Belt CP, I believe.

  • I like your trips to the Senior Center. I'm sure they have nearly as much fun as you do when you fly there. Amazed you got the full-sized garage door(opps Jeff said that)err, Stm. Launcher to fly in there. U held that stall perfectly. Must've been tricky flying on that visit you did when all the streamers were hanging from the ceiling! Also, good job looping that new Citabria. Fun vid.

  • Ha ha. Thanks kindly. Gotta play with toys to stay young, is my theory.

  • Wow. I thought that was some type of retirement facility.

  • I guess it was.

  • It is.

  • i wish you had brought the mini garage door SL. I'll bet it would have worked.

    Jeff

  • Haha. Next time, with my new body.

  • Dave,

Led Zeppelin...LOL. I loved the controlled stall flight of the SL. Well done!

    Jeff

  • Thanks kindly. Fun stuff.

  • wow dave nice vid and flying, can i ask where do you to fly your heli in a hall dou rent it ir is it a club??

  • This is the Senior citizens center in Sioux Falls. John Donovan is a member and lines up the hall when he can. I have flown many times in the local gym, the City Hall and other places too. If you show someone you can fly well, they will let you then, usually.

  • Great video Dave. Looks like everyone had a blast that day.

  • Thanks. When you coming up to fly with us?

  • I would really like to do that one day, like when the temp is above 60F! lol.. I saw a foot or two of snow in the last videos you and Jeff put up. You get way too much cold weather for me. We are enjoying 70F days here this weekend. Thanks for the invite.

  • Its good to see that you have places where you can fly indoors. We don't have that here. Another great video Dave. And tell that Donovan to open earlier lol

  • Thanks. Well it is a bit small but for the folks there (who are all trying to learn), it is perfect.

  • Yes places to fly are getting very limited here. They now say that you have to be 60 miles out of the city limits to fly or you risk getting a fine up to 500 bucks.

  • another great flying vid, to bad my sound dont work

  • Oh no, you need the sound to hear the special effects...

  • Those Blade CX2's are pretty impressive.

I spy an Align Trex 450 in there! Just like mine!

  • I have had a CX2 for quite a while now and it is a blast. A real stable flying platform for a beginner thats for sure.

  • Yes, but that is because they come with a Spectrum 2.4GH radio.

  • Yes I agree. That 2.4GH radio is the best thing thats happened to RC in a long time

  • Very Nice Flying. Man, I need to find a warm place to fly :-). Nice Collection of RC Items

  • Thanks. Yep it is always fun.

  • Nice video. Still trying to find a place to fly my cessna 210. hard to really enjoy it outdoors. Maybe the summer will be better...

  • Thanks. Yes, a nice summer evening would be nice here too.

  • awesome vid im going to one to night in indiana

  • Thanks. Cool. Have fun.

  • Love the sound effects! Bet it was nice to fly somewhere warm for a achange.

  • Thanks. Yes, warm is good!

  • nice vid;)

  • Thanks kindly.
