This is Bobby Hicks demonstrating his double stop prowess on a relatively new Texas Swing fiddle tune written and recorded by Bob Wills and becoming a #8 country hit in 1950. Great song and arguably one of the best renditions of it. Bobby is a master fiddler who is equally at home playing Bluegrass or Texas Swing. He is a national treasure in my not so humble opinion, as much so as Bill Monroe and Bob Wills. Be that as it may, this is Western Swing, not Bluegrass.
