@djpablito79 I found rhinestones, beads & glitters at dollar stores/craft sections etc....they weren't specifically made for nail art but you can use these materials just the same! and plus they are cheaply priced!

I've tried using beads and have 2 questions. Is it easier to use a little or a lot of clear polish when you stick them and create the design? And does the top coat make bubbles near the beads (as mikacissej said)? Because mine did.

@NatalieDouka I have noticed that applying the top coat too thick causes bubbles as it dries. Try putting a thick drop of top coat on a piece of foil and you will see bubbles form as it dries.

what is the best base coat to use?

@rainbowspeckles I swear, the BEST base coat to use is Avon Nail Experts Adhesive Base Coat. Any nail polish will stick to your nails for 12 days without chipping and protects them from dark nail polishes too. Please, trust me on this. It was on sale on Outlet 21, it really makes your nail polish stay on for many many days. I also apply a top coat every 3 days, but not necessary! Try it and you wont regret it!!!!!!

Raquel, what's your favorite top coat? I tried seche vite because a lot of guru's recommended it, but for me if I applied a coat of it, even when I only had a base coat and one coat of color, the entire nail color would peel off the second the nail color chipped!

@Garten260 I have that problem with Seche sometimes too. I switched using a "base coat" to a nude nailpolish as my base (something that wont stain my nails basically) The nude seems to stick better than a clear base. I also have to make sure that every single coat of nailpolish, that I paint the free edge, that way I get less chips. Longest I have worn a manicure with Seche is about a week... which by then I get tired of the manicure anyway.
