I'm thinking about getting this for my first stick, don't really have enough money right now for a TE. The only thing I don't like is the wireless, sure it's good but I hate having to buy batteries all the time!
@HL5IHarrier Yea. When I had the T6 stick I played BlazBlue with it and it worked just fine. So I'd imagine that it'd work for Street Fighter. It was very responsive, and I really enjoyed the stick when I had it. I recommend it.

My local gamestore sells the tekken 6 game with this arcade stick for about 60 dollars and it's brand new! I'm new to arcade sticks but I would love to learn and play around with it. Is this ok to start with?
It's hard to compare these two sticks. Let's not forget the Tekken stick can be had for super cheap, and is probably the best bang for the buck when it comes to an affordable arcade stick. Sure, if you want to spend $150-$300 on an arcade stick, then of course it will be better then this tekken stick that currently goes for about $35 if you subtract the price of Tekken that comes with it...
@kalninja I have the Xbox version and it works fine for casual play. It does feel like it's a bit flimsy, but it's holding up better than it feels it will. I normally play with a fight pad but the stick is really helping make the experience. But if you're willing to spend more money on a top quality stick, I'd go that route instead.

Its a piece of shit, got it today, broken in less than 5 MINUTES. And i didn't even spam anything, i just pushed left, blocked 2 punches, tried to run, and wala, i fucking can't.
I wouldnt recommend them for tournaments. They can go unresponsive at crucial times. Had to hit the back a couple of times to get it back working. Till then LOST the match. And no, its not the batteries.
Seriously, you can drop this stick as much as you like, and it'll NEVER break. I've had the stick since June, and I've hit it over my knee, headbutted it, and even air punched it across my room, and it just doesn't break.
I think this stick is great, especially for the ridiculously cheap price you can get it for. I got the bundle for £40, so that's a £20 stick if the game is another £20.
A great beginner stick in my opinion, and you even get a great game with it!

Reason I watched this video was so that I would get information on how it functions in beat 'em ups, and how hard it would be to repair in case of malfunctions. In video, you covered both aspects in like five words, while consuming majority of the time on stickers, losing dongle and and disqualifying.

A sturdy one that will last and great is street fighter four tournamentjoystick like the one in the video on the right, That will cost u like 130 new and its from Mad Catz which is good. Or if cash is a problem u can buy a 50 dollar for an offical street fighter 4 joystick from gamestop. Its average and it does the job but it can start to have some problems on the way. i have this one and after about 5 months its not so good.

I okay with the umm, but Man~ people don't really care which one is bigger, smaller, lighter, heavier, drop it, not drop it, mod it or not mod it... We care the most are how they're response, how's the keys and the stick feel. And people concern of the wireless compare with the wired, how's differently do they response, does the wired response a little bit quicker? Better do a brainstorm or something like that to figure out what most of the gamers look for before doing a review~
Ok i have both for the 360 and for anyone thinking about buying the bundle just buy the game because that Hori Stick is Trash. The only time the stick works good is when you have BRAND NEW BATTERIES in it and expensive ones too but the second they start to die you get button lag. I'm a total n00b when it comes to sticks, but I'm thinking about getting this bundle and I guess this would make a good "first", right? Just wondering why the L buttons are on the right and the R buttons are on the left? Is it really supposed to be that way? Looks pretty dumb given L and R stands for left and right respectively.
It is not tournament friendly. evo and other tournaments banned wireless controllers because of ppl may complain that their controllers run out of batteries.

I wasn't sure if there was an HRAP in the box or not since they couldn't open the box for me with the spider security thing on it. The weight didn't quite feel right, but I didn't know how much else was in the box.
I'm glad I decided to drive home and check more in the net before I bought it. I would've cried to see a non HRAP stick.

yea, the new aran class controls are kinda like street fighter and tekken LOL. there's combos. and like to do some moves you have to do some inputs like street fighter and tekken LOL.
but check out some videos about Aran on maplestory. arans are very powerful though. they basically rape so much. but they use pots like crazy

the stick is horrrible for streetfighter cause the ball of the joystick spin in ur palm when u try to do a move. its good for tapping motion but not circular motion because of the spinning of the ball

save time and just get a real arcade pro. best decision i ever made. its heavy. ridiculously easy to mod. and it comes with the sanwa jlf. so all you really need is to mod the buttons. and i actually played with the stock buttons for about 4 months before they started to feel crummy. the stick still feels brand new. all it needs is an octagonal plate.
I strongly suggest rehearsals before you record your video sessions, keep up. i have the bundle deal, it's not the best but it's best as u can get at home without the hassle of remake them yourself.
yeah same here the bundle is the best deal I can get right now because alot of those other fight sticks are 150 bucks but for that same price I could get tekken and the fight stick so I aint complaining besides hori makes good shit so I know it will last awhile
I just opened my copy. Once I looked in the manual and saw NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PS2 SOFTWARE I immediately put it back in its box. Now I get to drive 30 minutes back to Best Buy to return it. I bought it to play ALL my Playstation 1-3 games. Arcade classics. Fighters (non tourney). It instantly fails what I wanted it for. I'm not really a Tekken fan (though the last one I played was T2) so I thought I could save some cash and get a nice stick for the same cost as a SF4TE. Guess not. :(
The wireless stick i admit is good but i bought the TE Stick to see if it was better and since i found it on ebay for a really good price that the TE stick is definitely a better stick the response time is so much better than this wireless stick and its definitely a more durable stick if you are hard on sticks.

I picked up one of these LE bundles for T6 and I have to say, it's a pretty damn good stick. I don't have any complaints. I'd probably mod it when I run into any snags with it. But as far the function, it works like any other stick.
Soldered to PCB = ultra mod fail. I was hopgin this would be a great stick but Hori has disappointed again. Guess I'll have to hire someone to wireless mod my HRAP3.
Werd, Desoldering is easy as well. You can go to any Radioshack and buy the Vacuum Desolder kit for like 10 bucks and it literally takes 10 minutes to desolder everything completely.
Something to note is that the 360 does not come with the dongle...the wireless part is built in, which makes it a nightmare to sync with the correct Xbox during a tournament. At least you run no risk of losing the usb part though.
40 hrs on two AA batteries? Not bad. It looks nice and slim and a Sanwa JLF might fit if you can use the Hori shaft. But minus the price of the game, this bundle leaves you with a $90 stick. Should wireless make it twice the price of a Hori FS3?

yea, the new aran class controls are kinda like street fighter and tekken LOL. there's combos. and like to do some moves you have to do some inputs like street fighter and tekken LOL.
but check out some videos about Aran on maplestory. arans are very powerful though. they basically rape so much. but they use pots like crazy

WHY? well its glitchy. certain combos just won't work. you won't be able to do Sakuras hard trials. if you can do them on a wireless stick then i will suck your cock. chances are you won't. on a mad catz fight stick i can do sakuras hard trials each first go. not on the wireless.
thats why wireless stick is shit. its glitchy, epic fail

the stick is horrrible for streetfighter cause the ball of the joystick spin in ur palm when u try to do a move. its good for tapping motion but not circular motion because of the spinning of the ball

save time and just get a real arcade pro. best decision i ever made. its heavy. ridiculously easy to mod. and it comes with the sanwa jlf. so all you really need is to mod the buttons. and i actually played with the stock buttons for about 4 months before they started to feel crummy. the stick still feels brand new. all it needs is an octagonal plate.

I strongly suggest rehearsals before you record your video sessions, keep up. i have the bundle deal, it's not the best but it's best as u can get at home without the hassle of remake them yourself.

yeah same here the bundle is the best deal I can get right now because alot of those other fight sticks are 150 bucks but for that same price I could get tekken and the fight stick so I aint complaining besides hori makes good shit so I know it will last awhile

I just opened my copy. Once I looked in the manual and saw NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PS2 SOFTWARE I immediately put it back in its box. Now I get to drive 30 minutes back to Best Buy to return it. I bought it to play ALL my Playstation 1-3 games. Arcade classics. Fighters (non tourney). It instantly fails what I wanted it for. I'm not really a Tekken fan (though the last one I played was T2) so I thought I could save some cash and get a nice stick for the same cost as a SF4TE. Guess not. :(

The wireless stick i admit is good but i bought the TE Stick to see if it was better and since i found it on ebay for a really good price that the TE stick is definitely a better stick the response time is so much better than this wireless stick and its definitely a more durable stick if you are hard on sticks.

I picked up one of these LE bundles for T6 and I have to say, it's a pretty damn good stick. I don't have any complaints. I'd probably mod it when I run into any snags with it. But as far the function, it works like any other stick.

Werd, Desoldering is easy as well. You can go to any Radioshack and buy the Vacuum Desolder kit for like 10 bucks and it literally takes 10 minutes to desolder everything completely.

Something to note is that the 360 does not come with the dongle...the wireless part is built in, which makes it a nightmare to sync with the correct Xbox during a tournament. At least you run no risk of losing the usb part though.

40 hrs on two AA batteries? Not bad. It looks nice and slim and a Sanwa JLF might fit if you can use the Hori shaft. But minus the price of the game, this bundle leaves you with a $90 stick. Should wireless make it twice the price of a Hori FS3?
