They are playing for a very specific audience, and they are more concerned with connecting with that audience than with pushing the envelope musically. Saying Marc can't create music like Freddie might not be as accurate as saying he is choosing not to go in that direction.

I would not, however, discount Marc's abilities to create amazing music as well. Their voices are almost exactly the same (Maybe Marc is even a little better) but Marc cannot come close to the music Freddie created. Singing is one thing, but writing and singing incredible music consistently is far more impressive.
Marc, obviously, you have a true gift.. Is it possible you sound BETTER than Keith Green? Sorry, Keith Green worshipers, but this guy could have BEEN Keith Green, ha. He's THAT good. And plays piano, too. I am amazed.

great talent: as a producer I would encourage him to add the extra 20% emotional flamboyance to his performance, more drama in his approach and you will have a REALLY hard time seperating his chops from Freddy. great talent: as a producer I would encourage him to add the extra 20% emotional flamboyance to his performance, more drama in his approach and you will have a REALLY hard time seperating his chops from Freddy. Marc is just a little too reserved just yet...but i get the feeling that's going to change...real soon.

I simply didn't connect what you jokingly said about Freddie as being in any way connected to Freddie. Apparently, I am not alone in having missed the allusion as I hear you rec'd quite an outpouring of an outcry. The obscurity of the phrasing gave the immediate impression you were commenting on Marc's dad.

@OgZikkyC1 I'm sure he understood your reference to Freddie's talent being seen again in Marc and you did apologize so nicely to him after the brouhaha that I think he has completely forgiven you for any offense he may initially have taken. As to your comment being removed, it was merely hidden. It can still been seen by choosing to click on show where it says "This comment rec'd too many negative responses."
