  • This is a great video! im debating on getting either the Roketa GK-04, the BMS Power Buggy, or the JCL-MG800A. (It would most likely be a 800cc). Do you have any tips on what i should be looking for? Im going to be doing the same thing you are.

  • @DonkeyDigger159 It sounds to me. That any one of the buggies you have chosen are a matter of taste. All of them are going to be fun to drive. Replacement parts can be found on line and all are easy to work on. Have fun!! The only tip I have for you is... If you can afford it, buy the 4 banger or the 1100cc instead of the 3 banger 800cc. It will offer you a bit more power in the sand or on steeper grades on trails. unless you are on hard pack the 800 cc lacks power in fourth gear.

  • @WOLFMANRACER Thank you very much for your input!

  • does that thing have a vw engine in it

  • @123voksrod The Roketa 800cc and even the 1100 cc Buggies have what are closer to a geo metro motor made by chevy .And 1100cc like Pontiac (Grand Am) but built in china. The Roketa in my video has a 50 horse 3 banger in it. From what I can tell, are a lot like these motors. China builds the Roketa and they used a old (Geo Metro or even a Suzuki swift car motor) blue print to build the motor. The motor is reliable though some other parts are a bit weak.

  • if that was my buggy i would be going way faster than that

  • verry nice thats good to hear. its like exactly what im lookin for. a buggy that does it all.

  • nice video i like the quality of the camera.and hows your buggy? isnt that the roketa 800cc? how do you like it

  • @12340bmx Yes this IS my Roketa 800 cc buggy.... I ran it for about 10 miles that day. I have about 40 minutes of video. It got pretty steep and rocky. But using 1st. gear I was able to motor right up through the tough stuff and 3d. gear for jumping the water bars. It is geared a bit high in reverse for the tight trails but it worked well enough to have some fun with it. I slowed for the muddy stuff just so I wouldn't get cover from head to toe in mud and water.
