I think the acceleration comparison was staged. if you look at the performance figures we are talking a tenth of a second difference from 0 - 160kph which would not equate to what the camera is showing. I have a K8 and would be surprised if I got left for dead like the one in the video !

I agree with you. i also have a K8 and tested speed and acceleration with the S1000RR

the BMW did pass me but not the way like in this clip. it was very slowly that the BMW passed me. only thing i did with my bike is akrapovic slipons and removed the cat.

hehe i`ve seen many races with slower bikes and closer out come.. of course 186rwhp will kill 165rwhp but still, this is the lamest race ever.. the bmw rider probaly was 50lbs lighter!!!!watch bmw vs K5 suzuki hehehe that is more like it!!! but then again it`s the only bike that can keep up with the bmw C",) gotta love the germans who have started the war C",) i am guessing some good years for us speed freaks!!!!

@pdak005 2011 zx10r not stock, use heavy mods, with very light wheels, that how beta bmw, but it not easy beat stock bmw. if bmw use light wheels, mw will able same wins, but watch other video, bmw beat garth285 zx10r!
