But like Kucinich says, it will actually reward insurance companies. So what exactly are we getting in this Bill, a Health Care system that might end up making us all broke?

But then Kucinich also expects businesses to pay a 7.7% tax rate to help fund his Single Payer idea, which is yet more taxation.

The biggest defect the bill has is that it violates the Constitution, Article 1, section 8 does not allow for our gov. to control our Health Care!

I disagree. "...general welfare of the United States..." is part of the text of Section 8. It can be interpreted to mean Healthcare. Other nations think that way. The primary purpose of our federal government is for our "common defense", so safety. Healthcare fits into that category. At least in my opinion. Yes, I know that the "...general welfare of the United States." clause was probably intended to mean the general welfare of each individual state (i.e. State Gov.). I'm a Progressive.

I work for United Healthcare and I would like to thank the Republic Party for favoring our current Health Insurance system. I can tell you under this new Bill your health insurance will increase only 17% per year on above rather than 21% per year you the consumer will save 4% per year. Over 10 years that is only a 170% Health care increase for Americans rather than 210%. You the consumer save 40% over ten years.
