Brian - great insights on "luck" and "chance". I am currently listening to Stephen Hawking's audiobook titled "The Grand Design". One of the underlying principles in Quantum Physics and the way the Universe operates is on the level of all probabilities. Meaning-at any time in your life there is a potential for all probabilities to occur. The more you focus on moving forward with your goals the more likely the probability for the outcome will improve! What an insight.

Brian brings up the interesting phenomena of attracting people and circumstances according to your vision. As he mentions you must have faith to get past the plateaus.

Luck is simply an opportunity that had been screaming at you to allow it. Get rid of the idea of luck if you ever hope to be successful. If it happens, it had its origin in you.

Your problem is your lack of judgement ; your willingness to accept everything people say just because they are famous, successful, etc... reveals alot about majority of people. They are followers. Tracey is correct when talking about plateus; this is only a snippet of information form Tracey, and overall, he offers the best inseide information to become successful. He does it for free, go to his website, he is not trying to sell you anything. He just wants you to be successful. That in itself, is somewhat selfish, b/c he knows if everynoe used these principles to better themselves.. the ppl around him would be better.

A lot of people talk about sernedipitous things happening in their life.. great opportunities out of nowhere. They are not out of nowhere or complete chance... You have to be searching for it! You cannot have serendipity sitting on your arse watching tv. Never happens. People can change their life, and be successful, however you define success.

I don't think paying attention to the interviewer here is the purpose of the message although some people seemed to block out the message to hear the background noise. Go figure. The interviewer politely expresses vocalization in the background to help the interview so people don't think the interview is a lecture. I'm sure people motivated to hear the message on self improvement listened to the speaker, not the background noise.

@DELPHIIII yes the interviewer is an idiot. i listened to brian tracy today (in the luck audio). i like what he said in basis. he did take a very clinical approach to everything though. which took almost the fun out of everything, which could potentially turn people into machines. i have found that these goals occur naturally from reading the new testament of the authorised king james version of the bible. the root is deeper and properly connected to the core

Do some research on Mr. Tracy before you run your mouth. He has told his story many times and it checks back as true. He has lived every principle he teaches.
