  • It's funny, I actually prefer listening to this track with the Audiosurfer sound effects in the background, it gives it that 3D sound I've been looking for. 5 * * * * *

  • The sound effects from the game really seem to enhance the original track, if you compare this vid to other M&H Band - Popcorn vids.

  • Check my ride on Suicide Machine - this is what I call difficult. I'm not proud of it though, because it took me over 50 attempts to make such a score.

  • Lol! It took me a single attempt to gain 271,5K on this song. Not to boast, just don't get it, what's the point in uploading such a mediocre ride.

Ok, it's time to make a score on DV.

  • @Tertiusdecimus At the time of this recording 3 years ago, with mono, the score wasn't so mediocre. lol

  • @Kinhoshi119 @Kinhoshi119 the track itself didn't change though. But this is not the point, the track is for amateurs, it took me only one attempt to ride it with stealth.

  • @Tertiusdecimus The point was never for score though, I just uploaded what I enjoyed.

  • @Kinhoshi119 weird though, usually people upload vids to prove or boast their score.

  • Epic ! ^^

  • is this version for sure by M & H band? just curious because i've heard other versions of it labeled as such and they sounded different.

  • @AgileTablet Exactly what I would like to know too. This version is harder than other M&H versions I've heard.

  • @AgileTablet I found two other videos here on YouTube of M&H's Popcorn - one labeled "Radio Version" and the other "Edit Version" - that use the same version as in this vid. As I noted in my previous comment, the Audio Surf game sound effects change the flavor of the music, especially the beats.

  • FLAWLESS VICTORY!

Kudos to you, friend; all blocks hit with no penalties. Thanks for the upload. by the way; it's a good mix of this song.

  • I do nfm stage 13

  • I is approve of this songs.

  • very good! anyone know of a good remix of this track??? (Techno / progressive techno)

  • Why is it in negative?

  • @YRUIM I got tired of the original colors for a while and wanted to change it up. :P

  • Where can I download this?

  • @MrBroegi You can download this off of Steam for $10 USD.

  • @Kinhoshi119 Oh, I'm sorry that I have to ask (I'm from Germany), but what does "off of Steam" mean?

  • @MrBroegi No problem, sorry for being vague. Steam is a digital distribution 'platform' for Windows and Mac. Basically, it's a video game store online, and every video game is tied to your personal account. You legally download video games which you buy off of it... that's about the best I can explain it. You can learn more at the website. steampowered com ...youtube hates urls. If you've heard of Direct2Drive, it's pretty much like that, only a bit more to it.

  • One time while I was fishing in 1998, a game warden approached me and asked to see my catch. I agreed, and I handed him a hornet nest the size of a basketball, I was very proud of it, it was the biggest hornet nest I have ever seen or captured. The warden with fear in his eyes, dropped the beautiful nest and it was destroyed, 200 hundred black hornets flew out in a massive black cloud, and stung the warden many times as he ran away. I never saw the warden again, and this song on the radio.

  • is there a download to this song?

  • @B3lz3bub yes that's what i mean... that kraftwerk stealers are just bull....

  • Wow, you're good!!!

  • this music is awesome. and yes it is techno... i just don't know why people leisten to the kraftwerk version, since this is original and much better+video is so cool if you look at it when u high...

  • :X u r PROOOO!

    i like this music, 6/5

  • Thank you very much.

  • Finally got the name of the band that did this version *goes to tag on itunes*

  • Heh.

  • Yeah, it got sent to me as Kraftwerk lmao.

  • Ah. Yeah, someone else was claiming earlier on here via comments that this was done by Kraftwerk, and that I failed for some reason, I was just like "I'm just going by the id3 tags and don't really care" heh, thankfully someone decided to explain the whole thing. (and this is your tl;dr reply of the day. :P)

  • Yeah, well I couldn't remember the name of the band that did it. Someone had told me (probably in a comment on another video) and for some reason I thought it was hot butter's version, but hot butter is kingsley's old bandmate's band.

It would've been cool if Kraftwerk did do it. I think then there would be a higher standard for remixes!

  • The name of the band on the original 45rpm was HOT BUTTER, faceA PopCorn written by G.Kinsgley and played with moog by Stan Free, faceB At the movie written by Mullaney, Abbott, Jerome. Few months later, it was released in France a 45rpm with PopCorn by ANARCHIC SYSTEM... Just the very beginning of the PopCorn story... After, there are remixes by M&H band, Guru Josh, Crazy Frog, etc,..

  • Crazy Frog must die.

    Oh and some trivia!

The song on DDR (I think from 3rd and 4th mix) "Vol.4" uses the melody from popcorn.

    It's a Rotterdam hardcore track.

  • ;) The Frog has been eaten ! The french people... Because the second cd was worst than the first !

  • Did it taste like chicken?

  • Crazy Frog must die

    LOL :D

  • @DagGirl dude....... THANK YOU SO MUCH! I know you posted this a year ago, but I remembered hearing popcorn for the first time in a DDR song and couldn't find it, but your comment came up when I did a google search lol thnx!

  • @cooldevinis It was a great song xD

  • Wow, you are WELL slick at this game!

    Nice playing.

  • Thank you.

  • ui think these sychedelic sound lyrics is what need we neeed

  • i think this psychedilic the sound we know the effecx are what i need to have

  • WHERE CAN I FIND THIS FREAKING-psychedelic-FUK**NG GAME??????????????

    xddddddddd

    THAT'S INSAAAAAANE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Steam's store.

  • google it, i found it in less than a minute

  • I am so dizzy just watching that...

  • Just for your information :

IT WAS WRITTEN BY GERSHON KINGSLEY and play with a moog around 1969...

  • I could've sworn it was an ARP 1600. =/

My god I was sadly mistaken rofl.

  • 2600 :)

  • some fucker in the late 50s or something screwing around with a synthesizer came up with the main idea behind this song then a band called hot butter turned it into a daycent choon then m&h made this version and then it was the backing music for a youtube video about kraftwerk and then everyone thought twas them who made it and the rest is history

  • Let me correct myself: I see M & H are the first makers of the song. But no one has ever heard of that band, but people have heard from Kraftwerk. M & H -> one hit wonder band, Kraftwerk -> pioneers of techno.

  • I'm going with the id3 tags, so I don't really care if "Kraftwerk" is the "pioneers of techno"

  • You dont know what Kraftwerk is, dont start screwing around then. You seem not to get who they are.

  • Note the quotation marks surrounding Kraftwerk, and I don't really care who they are.

  • Kraftwerk never covered this song, although it would seem right that they would.

They are the pioneers of techno and electronica and have so much respect in the scene.

  • there's no kraftwerk version of this song. There's a lot of documentation in the net, there's even a wiki page about this song. 1st version is by Gershon Kingsley in 1969, and made famous by Hot Butter in 1972 (a group derived by First Moog Quarted, created by Kingsley itself). Since then there have been a lot of cover and different versions, but kraftwerk NEVER made one. bye

  • Love the music. But MAN, that gameplay of yours was bloody impressive!

  • Thank you.

  • Classic tune , Cool game .

  • wow, you play that game....VERY well!

  • Thank you. :)
