Joey pisses all over Lars from 100ft up. As a musical drummer, Lars is wank. He plays the same beats and fills over and over again hitting his drums as hard as he can. Good on him though cuz he is now regarded as a legend with quite a few million in the bank. Joey is not my favourite drummer, but he is an extremley talented player, who puts more effort into one song than fat Lars has done throughtout his whole career. Fat Lars, right place, right time. I'll admit i love metallica more than slipknot. But When it comes to drums, Joey is god. Lars's drum style is very basic and only took me a few days to get the hang of and 2 weeks to master. Joeys style of drumming is soo unique its a fucking bastard to learn. i've been playing for about 5/6 years now and i still find joeys drumming to be absolutely fascinating, and still dream of the day i will be able to play like him :) xD. if there is anyone who can match joey it would be Aquiles Priester :)

And lars isnt the best drummer in the world I agree as i am a drummer myself, but he serves his purpose in this band and has done very well considering that he wasnt supposed to be a drummer in the first place. i read alot about metal bands so i can probabley anwser your question. he killed his voice while recording a song so he had to take vocal lesson. his vocal teacher gave him a tape which to this day he still uses to get each note down good before each show. he may have not used it before this show.
