Thank God he got away from Wisconsin. He was meant to be a Jet. Ron Wolf should have stayed in NY and Brett should have been offered to the Jets. Then we would never have to hear about the stupid Packers and the Vikings, Lions and Bears would always be in the running for the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers has reacted to all of this in a commendable fashion, and I think he will be okay eventually. However, I can't get out of my mind why the management (Thompson mainly) didn't want to sit down with Favre initially when he wanted to come back. I won't be surprised if this turns out to curse the Packers like the Bambino trade.

I've cheered for Favre since I was a little boy and I have the pictures to prove it. I didn't say the Packers would have a better season without Favre, but I'm saying it's good for us that the drama is over since we knew he was going to be leaving anyway. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with it anymore.

If you think the Jets have done nothing this offseason outside of Favre, you are horribly mistaken. Have you seen the free agent signings by the Jets? Did you see the Jets draft Vernon Gholston the pass rushing Linebacker to compliment the run stuffing David Harris?

Outside of injury (as is always in the NFL) the Jets have shored up their glaring weaknesses this offseason. Favre will bring a new dynamic to the offense Chad never brought, and I love Chad.

I don't live in Green Bay so detaching from them was an easy choice for me since Brett was leaving.
