Seriously this game is horrible! You can't look inside buildings, Archers have like no range, spearman can throw spears AND get them back?, plus they can throw thier spears as far as the archers shoot. I was expecting something a lot better.

I paticuarly loved the free movement of stronghold 2 and the large multi-objective maps, unlike much of stronghold 1, which involved you waiting for the next enemy to arrive. However the AI's were good and the gradual rise in difficulty and available buildings and troops kept you wanting more, so you didn't learn all about the game in one level, then get bored.

I don't want to be disappointed by SH3 as it has been such an awaited game. I hope it patches well.

I've heard that the game was released buggy and well under completion, however I hope that the patches will smooth this out and make the game as pleasing as stronghold 1 and 2. Personally I found that crusader was just an Arabic themed remake of Strongold 1, as gameplay was the same as were graphics. I will buy this game, as sson as the reviews are more positive.

But when connected to the internet the game should update automatically like most other games with or without steam.

The worst RTS/Strategy games I've played. The controls are down right terrible. You can't build when enemies are inside your base, which is exactly when you NEED to build. Random wolves and bears spawn inside your base which eat all your villagers and murder your armies. Played the Militarily Campaign, got to around level 9 then finally gave up on it. Just a terribly designed RTS with god awful controls and limitations. SH3 leaves little room for creativity/imagination.

@Roeshamboe05 There's usually only 1 or 2 viable strats to winning a level. Either you do those or you lose, its that simple. No room for special tactics, no room for ingenuity, play like the game wants you to or go home. You will fail every level at the start until you memorize when the waves are coming, and which direction they are coming from. Hate games that require failure and memorization tactics, especially in an RTS games. Just terrible all around 1 out of 10 rating for me.

Since Im only 13, I find stronghold crusader and the first's graphic to be crappy, but firefly studios don't even know how to make a game 3d right. Leave that to xbox. Maybe revert to stronghold 2's graphic with a LITTLE better gameplay.
