@miis FYI man, The UFC = Dana and M-1 = Fedor. What Dana says pretty much goes in the UFC and what Fedor says pretty much goes at M-1. It is my understanding that Olympic athletes are not paid any money from the profits received for the Olympic games, but earn their money from sponsors and endorsements. So not sharing half the profits would be more then fair.

Yet the competitors compete for the Honour of proving they are the best in the world at the best venue to do it at. I never said Dana owns the UFC, but he does run it. The Fertitas are more like finnancial backers for Danas baby. M-1 and Fedor both say Fedor controls his career.

I think your a little bit clueless on training, why would fedor "diet", he's a heavyweight and well under 265. All he has to do is eat healthy to keep his energy and recovery up. It's not like he randomly cuts weight to get to 230 howmanyever lbs. Shaving is more of a common courtesy for a lot of guys, it's nice to grapple with people that don't shed hair on you like a wild animal but each to his own.
