Sorry, but the iphone can't compete with this. This is coming from a devoted iphone user for the last three years. I used the iphone because it was the best and i'm going to be getting this this summer for the same reason.

@alban05m Except that the new iPhone won't be able to wirelessly host up to 5 other devices. The truth is Apple is going a diffrent route in smartphone design and expectations where they believe less is more. Unfortunetly, the rest of the market, i.e. the consumer, wants every available piece of hard ware possible in/on their smartphone.

Right now, only Sprint offers 4G (and Clear Communications -- but Sprint owns 51% controlling interest in the technology -- so other vendors will not be coming along any time soon)

Look at those specs: 1) 1 Ghz processor 2) Android 2.1 OS 3) 4.3 inch screen 4) 4G 5) front facing camera for video chat on the go 6) 8 mp camera 7) 720 hd recording 8) connect up to 8 devices via mobile hotspot feature, and..(breath) 9) hdmi out port to watch HD content from phone to TV. WOW! Only a very few phones have just one of these features and even fewer have two. The HTC EVO is going to destroy the competition! Do you have an answer Apple fanboy!?

@IamFlashy Ok. The Incredible still only has three. Your number nine claim is not true. The Incredible DOESN'T have an HDMI out port. It has a port for normal RCA TV's but WON'T have HD quality video. As far as the recording in 720 HD, it COULD come in an update but who knows when that will be. Anyway, it still only has 3 out of 9 with a possible 4 of 9. So............ EVO wins by 3x of what the Incredible has.

@IamFlashy I agree with you. 4G is great and the HD is cool, but the TFT screen is crap compared to an AMOLED screen. i think I will ge the incredible.

Yeah I am getting this phone. With that said I also have a feeling the phone will not be cheap even as a new subscriber Just a guess but I would not be surprised to see a 600 dollar price tag list and maybe 350 or so with a two year agreement.
