  • finaly somone did some nice soundtrack to a Dinosaur Video ;-)

  • omg this video has completely stunned me because i always thought the mosasour was a huge ass lizard dinosaur but the megalodon grows to like 55-67 or 70 feet or something which is much bigger than a monsasaur and i always thought mosasaurs hunted megalodons but thanks for the info man big thumbs up

  • Ahh nothing quite sounds the same as the old national geographic theme song. I believe mosasaurs still survive because they live for two whole damn eras Jurrasic to cretatious up until the lights went out. They were the rulers of the sea practicly and nothing got in their way.

  • Oh so this is what a Mosasaur is!? I've been wondering for a while now because I wanted to buy some Mosasuar teeth. I thought they we're giant lizards! XD Well now I know! :D

  • the closest living relatives to mosasaurs are snakes.

  • on 3:50 is it eating a baby liopleurodon?

  • A few years ago I had found a tooth of him. :))

  • I am actually terrified of these things. I have mosaphobia. I'm trying to confront my fears... but aren't they just the freakiest things you've ever seen?!!??! :OO

  • They are extinct people, marine reptiles needed oxygen to survive and they would have to resurface eventually, wouldn't we have spotted one by now? Also as impressive as they were, the biting sperm whale and Megalodon are far larger and more terrifying, look it up if you don't believe me!

  • @dinobird11

    thats what she said

  • This was the most vicious and violent predator in the entire prehistoric age,at the beginnig,it was dominated by the Ginsu shark, until the Mosasaur evolved even more and killed the entire Ginsu shark race, that's why I love this prehistoric beast:D

  • sweet! 5/5!! :) and huge! O_O.....

  • canada is great if you like cold weather 8 months a year

  • i hope its not, it gives me the creeps!

  • Crap on toast,is that animal thing still alive?!

  • (jessecormie94)yup,there are lot's of it...^.^ but obviously, this thing (and other monsters that are still alive) can't be caught...It's too dangerous(sorry,my english is BAD)heheh

  • there was an incident in WW2 when a German U-boat had torpedoed a large freighter or something when an unusual event was recorded in the captains log. He drew an illustration of this creature and wrote that it was blown clear out of the water by the detonation, rolled in the air, and splashed down. Could it be that, like the coelacanth, a small community still breeds in a remote undiscovered location? - apple butter on toast!

  • no ts been extinct for 65million years trust me m a prehistoric marine reptile expert

  • heh no they evolvd into snakes

  • evolution is a natural process. its like child birth you begin as to chromosones you fuse and become and egg how is that the chromosones know to be an egg. it jus does. and how is it that fetus knows to feed off the mothers body it jus does. and then how is we know how too breathe and crawl and walk and talk. its stuff that through trial and error we learn to do. it is also stuff that has been enbeded in our genetic make-up thanks to the ones who came before us. thats evolution trial and error.

  • bud your country isn't even half as good as mine so whatever you say doesn't bother me, i know i'm better than you and live a better life. besides shaving your moms back and playing soccer what else do you greeks do?

  • Fucking Canadian tourists? We actually do so fucking good back shaving that you send your mothers here to sunbath and have locals bending behind them pretending to shave their backs... ;)

  • what?????????? nice english skills retard

  • man you live in a little shithole country that has nothing but soccer. Man i live in toronto i see how greeks act on the danforth avenue. the place is a smelly shithole. Canada is the best country to live in in the western world you fucking retard.

  • Comment removed

  • Well I guess that is what you are familiar with...

  • Loved the video two thumbs up

  • i got a mosasaur tooth =)

  • then who made the dinosaurs?

i bet it was like this

God: i would love to see this creatures but they are too dangerous for human beings so.... it would be good if this dinosaurs are gonna be discovered by man... this will make them realize that life is evolving... and life has come before they are made...

that should be nice i think....

  • exactly...

  • god make dinosaur that is very dangerous died because got a good reason if dinosaur live they will crush all car and house if this typical dinosaur exist will you dare go surfing?? or even go fishing

  • God didn't make any dinosaurs

  • dude there are still sharks and killer whales and jellyfish and giant squids. pretty stupid question

  • @tsukashigiro Your right! No way would we be able to go fishing or swiming!

God made the Dinosaursand Spiders and insects which are like Mini Dinosaurs!...They are freaky! If God had made them bigger we would be stuffed!

  • well, some of them are tylosaur's

  • cool pictures

  • Wow.. It must have been a really amazing time when dinosaurs were around..

  • this guy looks stronger then sharks and alligators but y didnt it survive like them???

  • Imagine if they still roamed in the waters today...hiding in the deepest depths of the sea...makes me shiver

  • Lol, that's why you push your little brother/sister into the water... to test for them, lol

  • they still exist

  • Of course not idiot

They died out after a climate change on the

    K-T border

  • what about the ceelocanth[mabey not spelt right]that was thought to be extinct for thousands of years so fuck you asshole.or the recently discovered frilled shark??

  • The two creatures you name are small and can adapt to changes much easier than the mosasaurs. If most of the mosasaurs food gets extinct then the mosasaur with it.

  • mosasaurs look like they would eat anything they found so unless every fish and animal died out your comment makes no sense

  • The sea is big and mosasaurs must eat much.

Of course they would eat anything but if a lot of species die out the big predators just don't have enough to eat.

  • Yes but undersea volcanos retards. They lived where Kansas is now, I've found a few fossils in a lake once.there fod died from the volcanoks creating rock on them lolz

  • Volcanos just in Kansas can't be the cause of death of the mosasaurs. Mosasaurs lived all over the world and a population can't be wiphed out by just a few volcanos under one region

  • Lived all over the world? Most animals aren't they are contained in a localised area. Is there any evidence to suggest they (unlike most animals) lives all around the world?

  • There is quite a bit of evidence perfacetus. Tylosaurus has been found e.g. in America (mostly Kansas) and also in my country, Holland. I am quite proud of it.

  • Mosasaurs are known from every continent. Their remains have been found all over North America, Japan, New Zealand, Europe, Africa (Angola, Morocco). There are literally tons of evidence.

  • Yes, I thought so, but Tylosaurus too?

  • I totally agree with you dude. No matter how opportunistic they might had been they still were apex predators (and quite big I must say) and APs are always the most vulnerable to any biomass dicrease in the eco-system...

  • You propably do not have a clue what a trophic pyramid represents?

  • icthysaurs rule, mosasaurs suck!!!

  • Their both very cool. Thankyou for your nice comment...

  • @Z0r03

    anyád!

  • @Z0r03 wait tell me again how did icthysaurs go extincted again, wait what mososaurs i never knew that suck bitch

  • imagine swimming with that thing!

  • The song is quite catchy. What's it called?

Nice video too. recently I've developed a fetish for scary animals.

  • Its the National Geographic theme...

  • me too! :D

  • How long are they?

  • Different species going from 15 feet to 40 feet...

  • If there is a "Nessie" I'd imagine that is what it would look like. Very cool vid.

  • no nessie reports say it would look more like an elasmosaurus, the 1 with a long neck im pretty sure

  • @fireraider747 The Tylosaurus was up to 50 feet long, as big as a Megalodon

  • GREAT video.

  • I work in th museum that is featured at 3:08! The Mosasaur is our feature piece and sort of the mascot for the museum.

  • Yes leviathan could have been a mosasaur, but could have been a kronosaur.

  • they are soooo scary

i hate them cause i have a phobia of them! haha (nervous laughter)

  • It's really cool.

  • Amazing, great video, Mosasaur rule, 5 stars.

  • awesome

  • nice but i believe it with be more fancy if u use

    more suitable song..

  • What's more fitting than the National Geographic theme?

  • i love the spirit of this video
