Well, this just shows that Michigan is obviously a very dirty team too. I saw all of the uncovered dirty plays they did against us, including provoking Gholston's punch. However, the difference is that Michigan is alot more subtle and less obvious about it which is why they never get penalized. That is actually what you should do if you are dirty. I really don't like promoting dirty plays in football, but that's part of what makes rivalries rivalries. If you're gonna be dirty, don't be obvious.
@Brewhaman Coach DANTONIO has beaten UofM 4 years in a row. Gholston gets suspended for the next game and MSU still pulls off the upset against Wisconsin...Hmmm seems to me that the BCS is garbage and in need of a playoff system to show every Michigan fan how bad their team really is.
@tooldickwithit22 Your correct, DICKtonio has Michigan's number, I agree. And congrats on the win over Wisconsin. I'm over this incident, as mentioned, MSU won the game because they were the ones who brought the mean-streak to the game. Michigan knows what it has to do to get past MSU and that's to bring a tougher mentality to the game. BTW, Thanks for waiting until AFTER you won the game saturday to show what a lousy-ass fan you are. It's okay, you represent the typical Spartan fan well.
What most of you Sparty-Gholston APOLOGISTS are missing is the fact that there was NO penalty called on this play. Big, BIG difference. Coach DUMBtonio KNEW his player threw a punch and still kept Gholston in there to continue his ghetto ball by twisting DRob's head off. Same stuff, entirely different circumstances. Typical "Dino" ball..business as usual in ELansing.
The play happened at the far side of the field. All the coaches saw was the back of Gholston coming late to the pile and getting flagged. They never said it wasn't important, just that they wanted to review it. Then, when the B10 jumped in saying they would review it, MSU said they wanted to provide some film to document all the shenanigans that were going on so that the B10 would know (I assume) how dirty the game was in general. MSU never said what Gholston did was OK.
Im all UofM or a WalMart Wolverine if you will...... that was shit.......he should of had his ass rejected for that. So this is suppose to justify what? Its ok to play dirty back several years later from?
