Fuck, Obviously the 1.8 is out now, Ive been playing it, first time I updated and went on it, the maps were fucked, my mods had been deactivated, So I discovered the META-INF was back, deleted that, go back on, all I get now is a blank screen. I cant play minecraft whatsoever. Pisses me right off.

I don't like the strongholds and villages. But I have a reason for that:

I like the way how you are in Minecraft the only guy in the world, who has to survive totally by himself. NCP's or even slight hints that there live other people in the Minecraft world, takes your helplessness away.

I hope there will be an option to turn those things out.

I don't think notch is adding silver fish, I think it was an idea, but I don't think he is anymore, and in the villages there will be Pigmen villagers not zombie pigmen but Pigmen :)

I think some of the things will ruin vanilla minecraft. Call me an old fashion minecrafter but when I sit down and play minecraft vanilla I want just minecraft that doesn't feel like a massive mod pack. A lot of the things im excited about but there are still those things like the endermen that just seems like a mod and a really annoying one at that. But I still cant wait for the new bow the food bar new items just not things that overpower the game.

@EVanimations Actually small quests from NPC villagers will be real fun. Although Minecraft itself has that unique genre that makes it fun and addicting, Minecraft still lacks some things from it's game aspects. These quests don't need to include a story, but just small missions to do, and in return, you get a reward. Sorta like a side quest in most non-sandbox games. It will add the "Adventure" feel of Minecraft even more, which is what Minecraft lacks.

According to the wiki, silverfish rarely jump out of sand blocks and attack the player. Not really anything saying it will destroy the wood & paper.
