the gner 225 isnt a hst hst is 2x43 diesil power cars and 9 mk 3s the gner 225 is a 91 loco and a dvt + 9 mk4s

Well actually, HST is just a brand name that incorporates all high speed trains in Britain. This includes the 125 (which was the first), the 225, the Pendolino, and yes, horrifically, the Voyager.

although, most associate HST with the 125, especially as it is generally referred to as the HST.

and i thought the consist of the 125 was 8 mk3s? 2 first, 1 buffet and 5 standard.

Well, on most operators it is 8 car but GNER (now NXEC) have 2 First Class, 1 buffet and 6 standard.
