I think you may have a point there, that there could be an evolutionary explanation. But, I do not think it is so simple. It may be partially evolutionary, in the sense that in the past, when people lived in tribe and clan based societies, the fact that someone had a different skin color would show them as an outsider, and therefore competition. However, I think it has to be said that how one is raised also plays a large part in it.
Well culture of course plays a role, but culture is also instinctual. There are some tribes, as I have been made to understand, that only let their young people marry someone who does not speak their own language. So, if racism becomes endemic in a society, of course it will be learned as culture by the children. The solution is the same, empiricism, and the disintegration of natural instinct through critical thinking.

It is very well done. But, being against racism is not exactly rocking the boat. Everyone in western countries claims to be against racism.
I know that many people will say that they are against racism and sexism. Then they say "I hate white men" or "white men are the source of all our problems". It is very prevalent on university campuses where white men make up as little as 25% of the students. People often just say what is correct for the culture that they live in.

Racism comes from ignorance. I know we all were never born as racists. A child isn't racist until they are exposed, but a child will be scared of a bear at first glance. My best childhood friend was a black child and as I moved and got older, I started to hate and make remarks... I look back at those days and wonder why I said those things even though my best friend was a black child. I've forgotten something, forgot that we are all the same.

I think you may have a point there, that there could be an evolutionary explanation. But, I do not think it is so simple. It may be partially evolutionary, in the sense that in the past, when people lived in tribe and clan based societies, the fact that someone had a different skin color would show them as an outsider, and therefore competition. However, I think it has to be said that how one is raised also plays a large part in it.

Well culture of course plays a role, but culture is also instinctual. There are some tribes, as I have been made to understand, that only let their young people marry someone who does not speak their own language. So, if racism becomes endemic in a society, of course it will be learned as culture by the children. The solution is the same, empiricism, and the disintegration of natural instinct through critical thinking.

Our world is limited by its divisions, we know we cant remove all divisions, but we can disolve the ones that do not matter. Race is one division that has no purpose but to blind and limit humanity. This division will fall away and shed to a more evolved and true division, there will be only the rich and the poor. Only then will we realize the system has failed.

Racism, i think, comes from one man's egotistical need to feel inherently better than another (people of the same color even do it to each other). I personally picture a beautiful field with a barn with the first picture on another version of the truth website, and someone painting over it the Another version of the truth picture, then a hand painting the same picture over the real world and the kid who painted the picture on the barn vanishing.
