Why, on every page on Youtube that contains either a Frank Black solo piece, or something by Kim Deal/The Breeders is there a war about who's better or who sounds more like Pixies? I fucking adore Pixies, but solo work wouldn't be solo work if it sounded exactly the same as the band either artist was in before. In my opinion this album is his finest work! The amazing complexities of his songs. He has such a dynamic voice and the incredible ability to keep a song progressing. I mean, rarely will two choruses or versus sound the same. No two songs on this LP sound the same. I am still in awe of this work after all of these years.

No comments?! Every time i make a road trip it's straight Frank Black CDs from the eponymous album until Svn Fngrs. I try to listen to each album all the way through with no break up in flow; however, I must admit that this song I have to play about six times before I go to "Abstract Plain." It's SO good and SO short.
