Wow, actually that's pretty accurate to how the movie version looks, except it never gets the chance to look like an extending beam, since Goku is flying at Piccolo while firing it at him. Oh, and there's no electricity. But it really DOES look a lot like that, with the front of the beam having this expanding hemisphere wave that looks like a WALL of energy.

Have you seen the film? If not, that's an interesting coincidence.

I think the movie will be good. Hard to watch at first yes. But if i remember right, with the Kamehameha wave. Goku was never train how to use it. He mimicked Roshi's technique and found away to use it. So if they do the same for the movie... Goku may know how to summon the powers to use the energy wave but not properly. Just a thought!

Look, kid, first off use ur common sense. Do they really want to show you the epic Kamehameha blast in a tailer. no they juz want to show you clips of the movie. Everyone knows kamehameha blasts can be used with two hands...unless ur Gohan SS2. Second off, give this fuckin movie a break. Too many fagots are hating this movie because it's WAY different than the anime. I'm a Dragonball fan myself, but damn, give it a break. There are some things in the anime that will look stupid in real life.

just to be fair, movie trailers show the most anticipated, expected, selling point of the movie (without giving away plot obviously) to make show that it does have what you want. and with the bad press that this movie is already getting, you'll be seeing a lot of "epic" scenes in previews and trailers. from what i seen it looks like the "kamehameha" in the trailer. as for your little rant about how it's done, since this movie is already radically different, they won't change the kamehameha? ok..

That's the point of Dragonball. It is overly masculine, overly corny, overly colorful, overly dramatic, and so immature that it is a parody of itself. That's what makes it entertaining to watch. To be honest, I would rather this movie take the Speed Racer direction and try to capture the psuedo-action corniness of the TV show rather than try to be serious and dramatic.

Although this is a very very good piece of work I wouldn't underestimate the powers of CGI, Dragonball is going to be a Blockbuster and the Kamehamea is where they have a real chance to be artsy.
