Beautiful at points, but this man has no sense of rhythm. He literally forgets the time signature and does his own thing about 8 times. The chord changes don't make sense because of it.

We saw and heard MN at Benaroya in Seattle last Fall, '10. He performed this as an encore. It was bitchen! I got to meet him afterward and complemented him. I told him I got to see JH twice when he performed in Seattle in the late 60's. In a few more decades this will also be recognized as "classical" music by the rest of the world....

Overall a good cover but the wank offery is incredible. The alternatve chords, the overuse of octave power chords and all the freaking tap harmonics. He was playing to impress not to entertain. Jimi all the way guys, there are better covers out there WITH A SOLO! Thats what he would have wanted.

1. It's not about what Hendrix would have wanted. It's about bringing something new to the table.

2. Techniques that are outside of Hendrix's repertoire (tap harmonics, etc.) often help when you're trying to craft an arrangement that doesn't require a rhythm section.

@MrvlZmb I may have been able to forgive his arrangement if it resembled little wing. The start doesnt even remotely sound like it at all. You'll agree you've gotta keep certain parts of the original arrangement to let the audience know your still doing a hendrix cover. It's just cut too many of the original elements. I can agree with your second point but i mean if your gonna throw extra technique into the mix at least use it in moderation. Every 2 seconds theres another harmonic its just lame.

There are some concerts where Hendrix was bood on the stage for bad playing. I still think he was the greatest of all time .
