I know you mentioned "scab hair" in one of you videos. I just did my big chop and my hair is really crunchy and dry no matter what i put on it. I've put shea butter on it and everything but it is still crunchy. Is that what my hair is doing? I finally just put my kinky twist back in because I didn't know what to do with it. Can you please explain scab hair and what it is and how to deal with it? Thanx so much erin.

my hair was like that also. i just left kinky twist or some other braiding/dreadish looking look in my hair, for a few months. its now softer when i style it and is reacting way better now that its grown out a little!

Been lurking around your page for quite a while now. I've learned so much from your videos on make up (and I'm still learning - Thank you for making the effort). I wonder if you have more videos on hair? Yours is lovely. I've been natural for two years now and still haven't figured out what works yet. How did you maintain yours before the locs? (I ask because I've natural hair without locs, can't imagine that the same routine works for both....or does it?)

The short spikey do's and fros are my favorite. I think I like it best when your hair is shorter and close to your hair. It accentuates your eyes and bone structure. The wraps are also super cool. If I could keep anything on my head for more than two seconds I would do a wrap.

hi Erin i love the entire video and all the styles from the decade of transitioning i need some advice my hair is relaxed and even though i now you have gone natural i was wondering are there any tips which you can give me to avoid damage and so on to my hair and PS the only reason my hair is relaxed is cause in its natural state it refuses to grow and also i used to bread even the toughest combs in my hair anyways thx in advance for the advice

I went through a transition back in 03'-04'. & right B4 they started 2 lock real good I got scared of the commiment & went back to pressing & eventually my relaxer ugh!
