I wish IMSA would bring back group C or at least group C requisites and definitions. I believe these days the cars are flat bottommed, for some reason they decided to take the ground effects away. the cars today arent the cars of the past, the 1980's saw crazier tech than today. I have a friend who was a lemans master mechanic, they'd throw a towel over some insignificant thing on pitting just to drive people nuts!

Yes it is the same year it is out of 1983 and Bellof did the lap on the 28th of May 1983

it is so far the only lap on an average speed of more than 120 mph
