Looks more like it just hit the rim and the shot clock gave the Knicks a new 24 BUT then the Mavs take it out to inbound it... so either he did score or they're saying it hit the backboard or something and it was a turnover.

The shot counts when it bounces back up through the bottom of the rim.

Notice how the game clock keeps running until that happens.
