@RockerChris1234 Alfa's have a stigma attached to them in that they are very unreliable...thats what he meant with his comment while bump starting it..
One of the most beautiful cars to grace the planet. I used to "bump" start my '66 Duetto and '67 GTV all the time. Got to the point where I could do it alone on a flat surface (but hills were nice). I really miss the '67 GTV.
for its time the alfa romeo 33 stradale was insanely fast. This is possibly the most beautiful car ever built, they were so expensive to make they only built 18 of them and few surivve today. Whoever owns this car is extremely lucky and i am green with envy, had i the money (around 700,000) and the means i would get one of these beautiful pieces of automotive art.
@magonzone what he said was "It's an alfa allright!" referring to alfa romeo's legendary trait of breaking down when you least expect it. You just made yourself look like an idiot, congrats
l saw the hand on the car & lm thinking "ok, let's watch, someone is going to get bitch slapped." Then l was like, ahh, ok. THE ONLY TIME you put your hands on someone else's ltalian sports car is when the owner asked you to help push it! Wheewh. & this is 1 of the most beautiful ltalians ever.
FANTASTICO!!!!!!!!!!!! estive dentro deste carro no passdo fim de semana. No Porto racing show!!!! era este, o do museu de Arese. 25 cm do chao........
Just saw your video--we want to go to the museum this fall--what is the best way to get there from Milan without a car!! Train, metro, taxi??? Any suggestions??
Wow, this isn't just a 33 Stradale, this is the first one, the original prototype, which, last I heard from a photographer who did a shoot with it, wasn't in running condition, when did you take this video?
There are no columns on a 33 since the doors are dihedral. Pushing is less of a probem than we think. At Mille Miglia scrutineering, everybody is pushing their extremely rare cars to avoid starting/stopping the engines every two minutes.
No magonzone, he didn't say "It's an ALFA, right?" He said "It's an ALFA alright." He was commenting on the fact that it would not start without being pushed.
The Sexiest Car ever made and so rare, I wonder if the guys pushing the car are aware of its value, This is one of the best sound recordings of the Stradale ive heard. Many thanks for sharing
why they don't make cars like these anymore... i want that car so much, and above all cause its an ALFA ROMEO....

Normally I would be pissed off at having to push start a car, but an Alfa, looking that good, anyday :-)

So? Like anyone who would own one wouldn't have friends to push them. Or, at least servants.

@newman1183 I think it' s still insanely fast, and a masterpiece of mechanical art: V8 2000cc for 230hp...
A graceless mercedes amg with a V8 5400cc has 320hp...

@magonzone He says "Thats an Alfa alright!" as in its typical for Alfas in his eyes to need a push to start, validating its "alfa-ness".

The aluminium 33 Stradale weighs 750 kgs and is easily pushed. Besides, the battery is rather inaccessible in the 33 ...

charlatans 2 years ago
Ohhhhhh...... All we have in the US is a Spider and maybe an early 90's l64. I am envious.
When you see a BMW or Audi driving around, do you feel as though you have a little bit more?
1bentley4ever 2 years ago
Thats a shame is it possible to self import ? Well definately a sexier looking bit of transport and a lot less common so yes !
charlatans 2 years ago
@charlatans You can self-import but it's very expensive and there are no dealer and service networks so repairs will be a nightmare.
1bentley4ever 2 years ago
Thats a massive shame my friend hopefully that might change in the futuire!? but there is a solution move to europe then problem solved

Problem solved, definitely.
