The exact reason I believe was never reported in the news. But I think it could be that the roller coaster failed to be pulled-up again on its way back after the first-half of the ride so it naturally didn't have the momentum to make it through all the loops, or maybe some sort of brakes were accidentally applied or the brakes could've malfunctioned resulting to it being applied when its not needed.

As i've said in many other vids all these coasters that have this track are part of the mass-produced BOOMERANG line. The parks just name them random names and thats it. Hope this clears some confusion.
