Yesudas has taken this beautiful melody by Naushad and turned it inot a classic, ably supported by Susheela..This melody has also been sung by Mohammed Rafi ( Jis Raat Ke Khwab Aaye) years ago. Listening to both Rafi and Yesudas singing the same melody is a rare treat :) The two great voices of Indian music!!

Thanks man for this info. I listened to both and amazing. I am not eligible to make a comparison. Both are great. I found Yesudas has an amazing skill to smoothly modulate and vary pitch at ease. Blessed are we mortals to have these legends singing great music!
