  • Sorry Shawn. I retired from CN years ago now. Frankly I'm surprised this video still exists...

  • Hey guys, im considering becoming a railroad conductor... Im having alot of trouble finding the information I need

If anybody is willing to help me please msg me with your email..

I just want to know some basic stuff like differences between cp and cn, and some other simple stuff about the job itself..

    Thanks for your time guys

    Shawn

  • i hope there will be another general cn strike soon those bastereds only understand picket lines , canadian companies have no respect to their employees

  • Well it's almost been a year and the shit is all still happening. Remember to remind your Members of Parliament next time they are seeking your vote that they sent you back to work. Good job Jasper, you were an inspiration to the rest of the country!

    Toronto Conductor

  • Keep it up brothers and sisters! How is it that these so called managers are quailified to take over as conductors with very little training? How about it Transport Canada, you going to let them run their trains like that? Watching closely from CP Rail ;)

  • yea were not gonna take it ahahahahhaha

  • OK Canada. This is HISTORY in the making. You will find treachery and deceit all agianst "US" the Canadian work force. The rail industry with governments help has changed our Canadian way of life. All employees of this industry "MUST" unite under one banner. The only way to fight corperate America is head on.WE MUST become one. 6 or 7 different unions with contracts ending at different times and years.SCABS doing OUR jobs, legislation telling my co workers to cross the picket lines.

  • Sign me up, and the Brotherhood.

  • Divided we fall;UNITED we stand. We MUST unite under ONE banner. ALL employees in the industry belong to the same team. One employeer; One banner for ALL employees. .How effective is your union?? When by law I have to cross your lines. and SCABS do your job!

THINK.Big bussiness are Governments,Unions and Rail industry. "US" the workers MUST initiate a change. Status quo does not work. Let,s change HISTORY. Take back our UNITED POWER.That is the only way to beat Corperate America in CANADA..

  • Now men (and women) of CN. We must unite against the Workers' Compensation Board in Winnipeg. For too long these parasites have been feeding off of the backs of working men (and women) in CN. Legitimate claims are neglected to save money. Look hard at the brother in Winnipeg who was arrested. Let us support him now!

  • We're proud of you brothers!! in the u s we carmen voted no but were not able to do what you have. Fighting the company, government and treachery of the"officials".you have changed history!

  • Thanks for making a stand for what is right. I wish we had the balls to do it in the USA. We are treated like crap on the CN in the U.S. and nobady will stand up like you guys are doing. I hope your effeorts pay off for all of us. God Bless and keep you and your families safe. Thanks CN employee USA

  • stick together lads for success, regards and good luck from the Fire brigade union, Birmingham, England.

  • Very good job. Stay together

  • As a former train movement clerk for CN Rail (93-94), I support the strike. I dated a conductor in Jasper, Alberta for three years and I was alone a lot. He was away a lot. And we didn't have children together. Families suffer. Give them what they need. Bargain in good faith! Conductors are pivotal in the safe movement of trains across this country. We need to think about that. Good luck, guys and I miss all of you.

    Shawny

  • Please! See this until the bitter end. You have this company by the short hairs and giving the rest of us hope. This monster needs to be brought down, NOW! You people are doing a great job hurting him. Hurting his millions. This RTC salutes you!

  • GIVE EM HELL!

  • Don't take no shit boys, I'd love to see that kind of solidarity down here in the states. We've been without a contract on Amtrak for seven years!

  • Give 'em hell men. We may only be train buffs, but every one of us railfans around the CN North America system support you guys 100%. Soon enough they'll realize management can't run trains forever, and they'll have to listen. Keep up the good fight.

  • Way to go guys! Wish our union leaders had your guts. We've been without a contract for 2 years. They want concessions while profiting billions. CN won't bargain, it's their way or the highway. We should be striking with you. Michigan Track Dept.

  • Ditto! No contract talks here in Iowa/Illinois... CN/CCP BMWE Local #1393

  • Just for the record, the strike has been declared LEGAL.

Something we all knew, now CN knows it too.Keep walking that line ,brothers and sisters.

  • Proudly supporting the CN Conductors from Day 1! Good Job keep it up!

  • Stay strong brothers!

    J. Geronimo BLE&T Division 521

  • Record profits, yet they still try to nickle and dime us. Keep up the fight guys ! Chris - TCRC-MWED, Local Lodge 211 President, Peterborough Ontario

  • I support you guys! Fight it out, don't settle for anything less than what you guys deserve. I'm a conductor with CP in Calgary, TCRC Division 355. The CN Three Hills Sub passes right by my place, and the trains seem to be not there. EHH is living in a fanatsy land of his empire still running smoothly.

  • i was in this video :)

  • Good one Brothers!! from local 344 utu sarnia,

  • stand united and strong! win the fight against this corporate waste of life! i proudly support the canadian utu's LEGAL strike action! my father is walking the line for his local 1874 winnipeg, and i wish i was there to stand beside him. instead i show my public support for his brothers and sisters in vancouver.

  • Great Job on the Video, Keep the Faith! Local 240 Sarnia,Ontario

  • Way to go! Good luck and keep fighting for what you rightly deserve!

Engineer, BLET Div. 231, CSX Transportation

  • Local 1360 Calgary

Proud to stand and fight with you!

  • Great video I love how the famlies came out. I would love to see this on the TV that is if the Media hasn't been bought out.

It is about quality of life. I would not want to work the hours CN Rail's CEO is trying to force on the workforce. CN's mangment from the USA is trying to make Canadian workers slaves from what I have read. Great Video it is very encouraging to see you all stand up.

Being home for reasonable breaks between work is what I call Quality of life.

  • Good job! I give you my solidarity. I am a unionized truck driver (teamsters 230) in Toronto. Hope we can learn a thing or two from you when our contract comes up! Working people across the country and around the world are watching you.

  • Finally! A group of men (and women) with balls. It is high time to show management who really rides the trains!

  • 1923 Pr. George

Proud to stand for OUR CANADIAN rights!

  • 1923 Pr. George Proud to stand with you for our CANADIAN rights!

  • Way to go Local 1453!!! Stick it to the MAN! Go UTU!!!

  • I am behind you 100%. Hang in there and fight for whats yours! I am a conductor for UP in Las Vegas UTU Local 1117.

  • Thanks for your efforts, Chris.

It's about time we brought some awareness to what's really going on with CN,for the sake and safety of our brothers and sisters, our families and our town.

Man I love living in the "Thin Air" capital of the Rockies.
