Wait, why doesn't this game have Wing Zero? Wing Zero Custom was made using the remaining parts of Wing Zero. I mean, Wing Zero Custom can only fire 3 fully charged shots before shutdown due to it not being structurally sound. Wing Zero however, can fire full charged shot's all day long. That "spin fire" shot was never used by Custom. That was when Zero was displaying it's pwnage by destroying multiple large targets with ease..... Seriously, Strike Freedom can pwn Custom, but not Zero.

this might not be much of a big diffrence but remember when Zechs easily pinched the TBR from heeros grasp at the start of their last fight, not to mention it can only fire 3 times at full power. Freedom as pratically Infinite power due to his fushion reactor so can spam his guns all he wants I know this argument might not go well with Wing fans but this is just my view m not a Kira tard or a Wing fanboy I like both i grew upwatching Wing and i got into gundam again with SEED.
The Original Buster rifle is the one that has the 3-shot limit, while the TBR has been established by the Gundam community to be able to fire an unlimited number shots due to a dedicated on the TBR.
It's been explained that the only reason why Freedom has a high power output is due to power all of its Extra weapon to use at Full-burst, while Wing Zero's reactor is only to power the suit itself, while the TBR has it's own dedicated reactor.
In my opinion, Freedom can beat Wing Zero. Im not saying easily cause theres a fucking super soildier piloting wing.
Im basing this on several factors.
1. Although Wing Zero has the abso-fucking-lute advantage in sheer firepower, but the TBR has to charge for 2 second before discharging, giving Freedom enough time to dodge.
2. Wing Zero's weapon options are limited (boiling down to only the TBR, Vulcan guns & his 2 beam sabers) whilst Freedom has 5 ranged weapons, 2 beam sabers & Vulcan guns.
1)There's no noticeable charge-time for the TBR(Where The Hell did you get the 2 seconds from?), not to mention Mobile DOLLS, who have shown to maneuver at 8Gs(moving so fast, it pushed 2 MS back after passing by them) and beam spam like Kira, couldn't even react to the beam.
2) 2 beam sabers and the TBR is all Heero needs anyway(that's basic after all) and Kira never used Full-burst against a main character(maybe because they're moving targets, unlike CE grunts).
@portablemp5 Remember Kira Fires the Full Burst mode on Legend at the end of Gundam Seed.. :P and if Kira use the Full burst on a single target that is an overacting one it might kill the target due to explosion.. Kira promise not to kill again.. I also not a Kira Jesus Yamato Fan.. nor a WingNerds..
Like ive said the Freedom has a power output of 8826 kW wile the Wing Zero only has a power output of 3732 kW.
Wile the Buster Rifle from the Wing Zero is impressive it's not vary practical as it has to stand still when firing it. On top of that in a 1 on 1 battle it's useless unless it's literlly point blank range becuase the beam is slow enough to be dodged at range. And the Zero System doesnt see in the future it uses battle data to predict future movements.
The purpose for Freedom's high output is to power all of its weapons, while Wing Zero's reactor is only supposed to power the suit itself(while the TBR has it's own dedicated reactor).
Episode 32, Technical officer, Trant fired the TBR while moving. Episode 43, Trowa, while having amnesia fired the TBR while moving. The TBR's beam is fast enough that even Mobile DOLLs couldn't react to it.
Episode 32, Trant Clark says to Duo that he can see Duo's every move, even how he dies. >.>
Episode 42, Wufei piloting Wing Zero, fought 40 Mobile DOLLs Virgo 2 with "his eyes closed".
We've seen Wing Zero fire the TBR while moving, the TBR doesn't even have a noticeable charge time, so no. The TBR is practical to be used in 1-on-1, considering that the TBR can both spam a normal-sized and big-sized beams in rapid succession(episode 43).
Seed and wing suits are so overpowered that no matter how many facts you tell the fans it's just not going to be true someone is going to have another fact to argue against you.
Okay JusticeGubBlade, your seriously mistaken with some of thoughs comments.
(1) Kira is BY FAR the better pilot, offical listing put only Amuro Ray as better then him and even then its only by a slight margin.
(2) Wing Zero isent considered the fastest. In terms of raw speed Double Zeta Gundam is far faster because its engin produces almost twice the power Wing Zero's does.
@Babylauncher3000 i disagree i think wing zero is better than freedom because wing zero can see the future of the battle , has a twin buster rifle that can destroy a colony with one hit and it can transform into Neo bird mode. freedom can destroy multiple enemies but not colonies.
@Babylauncher3000 WRONG. Wing zero's buster rifle will destroy a colony/PLANT in one hit. Do you know how many MS that will kill? Freedom needs a target system that hits 5 targets only while wing zero uses twin buster rifle. Kira might be a better pilot but Wing zero's System gets Heero up the pace. As for speed Wing zero can spin 360 degrees in a sec. Zeta can do that to but only faster in waverider mode. Freedom can't do all that.
@lemmehaviet Freedom can`t spin 360 degrees...?...now thats what we can call a lame Gundam in a cool body...then again the only reason we use Freedom in this fight againts Zero is because the game won`t allow you to choose Zero for this stage...a total dissapointment and it hurts to use other mechs to kill him...to be honest it just hurts to see Zero got blown away...and I always hated this stage of the game...in fact I never played this stage again after finishing it the 1st time...

The seed might be hard to defeat but Heero still has Zero system and the TBR as backup so if Freedom ever wins. Then their would be a dumb plot twist. Thats why I said Strike Freedom has the upper advantage.
We'll never know which gundam is the strongest , the only things we can say are facts, such as "wing zero is considered to be the fastest gundam", or "burning gundam is the best one at melee combat".

and its so gay how people exagerate the zero system, its predictions and stuff are just suggestions and possible ways to move about the situation, coordinators like kira adapt to the sitiuation quickly and on top of that he has FULL control of his seed mode, and the zero system does have negative effects on the pilots who use it for a long period of time

Burning Gundam can only use Hyper mode when it's health is below 1000 in this game(or kill a lot of grunts) and it's the only time you can use Burning field dash, Burning Finger and Sekiha Tenkyouken, but it's killer when up against close-range fighters. But I always get pwned whenever I use Burning Gundam in real ace mode in the boss battle stages.
@Mangekyou001 it only depends on the player!.. if player is badass pro it can dodge all wing's attack and wing's skill are so lacking in ammo and cooldown is long... freedom has many variesty of weapons here so it can fuck WZC..

lets see... in the first round the Wing Zero lost cuase it couldnt recharge its weapons on time. then again getting shot point blank by the Twin Buster Rifle really hurts.

First things first Heero did open his parachute but it was too late when he jumped off the building so he managed to actually survive, Heero is a super human while Kira is ultimate coordinator which means a coordinator that does not make mistake which wont matter if hesitate. Just like Amuro Kira also wont have a problem dodgeing the buster rifle, the Zero system wont improve Heero's skillz just predict the future while Kira has SEED mode in Strike freedom.
The Wing zero in endless waltz and the orginal look diffrent but they are the same some people dont know this but the Wing zero in endlesswaltz use its wings as a shield and instead of bird mode it goes rocket mode when the whole entire wings cover the body. Which will protect it alot even from Strike freedoms dragoons.

the wing zero is fast yeah and it does have the zero system but kira has the FASTER freedom and seed mode and as for melee abilities it is certainly not a draw freedom is incredibly maneuverable and swift when it comes to melee like when he wiped out two mobile suits by goin straight thru the middle with a quick turn
Actually Freedom is heavier than Wing Zero(Custom or otherwise) and it's power output is weak as well. The Zero system only has negative effects if you don't have your emotions in check and Heero would own Kira in a melee fight seeing as how that's Heero's preferred choice of combat. The only reason the Freedom seemed that fast is due to Bandai wanted SEED to sell model kits, making it extremely flashy. It all comes down to the schematics and the pilot.
Oh they did, problem is; the official schematics released for the Mobile Suits with model kits, Gundam video games and card games state that the Gundams in SEED are low level Mobile Suits. Once again, the reason they seemed over powered, Bandai loves Model Kits and the best way to sell models? Over the top fight scenes, it also helps that SEED made it seem like a person with no skill could own as long as they have a Gundam.
They're not really low level mobile suits, they can fare well in the ZZ time line mainly because some of the mobile suits are still heavy as 60 tons though, but after CCA, the MS weight was already down by 30 tons plus the CE Gundams aren't made of Gundarium, making them less effective then your Gundarium armored MS but they still have the PSA to guard against Kinetic damage. I'm talking about the weight class and speed difference between the MS, it's a shame they never had a chance to trim down
The mind set of CE seems to be more weapons than more thrusters. ZZ was heavy but had a couple extra thrusters for support. While in CE, they keep stuffing all sorts of extra crap on their Mobile Suits. For a race of modified humans, you'd think coordinators would have constructed slimmed down and effective Mobile Suits.
I'm talking about armor weight, because Gundarium became more lighter when time passed by, as it is now as light as 10 tons(F91-Victory timeline) which beat PSA which is heavy as 70-80 tons.

i can say that armor would make the difference in this battle. one word Gundanium. the nearly indestructable space metal the all the endless waltz customs were made of has proven to be tougher and both lighter than gundarium
@zexion1 Actually gundams use the armor type called Gundarium, not all gundams uses it though. Theirs Luna alloy, Lunar titanium, E-Carbon, phase shift, etc. Gundanium alloy is the strongest armor because it resists lazer.
The speed-factor of all the late UC and Wing units is very high. It's obvious from the technical manuals and designs that all of the later U.C. era units and Wing seris Gundams were buld shorter, lighter, and smaller with a high-grade alloy and maximum agility in mind. Every single unit from F-90 onwards, and every unit from Wing would run circles around the Freedom.
This is all technical crap anyway, but if we're going to argue technicals, then the facts are there.

@mulatok98 Thanks for the insult there buddy. Freedom has a higher output for it's phase shift, thrusters and weapons; it's power supply is divided, while Wing Zero's is just for the thrusters. The HiMAT is just thrusters in it's wings, which Zero has as well(don't beleive me? Why is exhaust coming out of the wings?). It completely comes down to skill, which Kira lacks. A weapon is only as good as it's user. As for the Zero system, it increases reaction time by analyzing fighting/piloting style.

@mulatok98 Umm what melee skill? Kira only used it against Cruset and even then he got whooped. Heero used manual aim in endless waltz where Kira has yet to switch off auto aim. The only named character Kira beat by himself in the SEED series is Cruset, every other character has caused Kira to get major repairs or a new gundam *coughShinncough*. SEED mode just means 100% battle awareness, which any character outside of SEED already has.
@mulatok98 As for the newtype flashes, the director hasd already said they are nothing but homages to original Gundam. Also, the fight between Heero and Wufei wasn't really a fight, Heero was trying to knock sense into him; not kill him. Seeing as how he gave up at the end just to convinve him. Plus, the aiming in Endless Waltz was for a re-enforced door that needed three hits to blow open.
@punkKid62 actually, you are right if Freedom is not powered by Uranium, it won't be faster then wing zero custom since freedom's wings are not designed to fly= =look at their shape= = but unfortunately, freedom is power by nuclear power....so its boost can be infinite and the output can be extremely large
@brianluk2006 Well they're both powered by nuclear reactor. It's just different types. Freedom has a fisson reactor, which has a higher output but is extremely unstable. while Zero has a fusion reactor which may have a lower output but it's stable and works more efficiently. Look at our sun, it's a giant fusion reactor.
@punkKid62 Actually it depends on what Zero System you're using. The Zero System 2.5 had no mental drawbacks but the suit did tend to act and move on it's own.
@punkKid62 Very True. Although, Strike Freedom might be able to beat Wing Zero Custom. Custom cannot withstand the recoil of 3 shots of a fully charged buster Rifle. I would call that a serious drawback for the new model. From what I saw, it seemed like Custom was a a downgrade from Zero.
@narutowned Custom and Wing Zero are the exact same suits, just different outer designs. The TBR's are only designed to be shot three times as they fire focused radiation. it requires a cool down time after every shot; Heero overloaded the guns which in turn destroyed the suit due to fire one shot after the other. In space, SF and Zero are evenly matched in the speed department but Phase shift won;t protect againts the over heating effect of the TBR
@narutowned Zero also has tougher armor. Gundamium, as well as Gundarium (UC) are amazingly durable. Kira can hit Zero as many times as he likes with his guns (Heero of course will be a pilot and dodge as best he can against spamming) but Zero can out last SF in terms of durablilty, plus none of SF's guns have an over heating effect so SF is looking at some serious damage from a far. Plus, Heero is more or a melee type so of course sooner or later Heero will end the fight with a saber stab
@punkKid62 Wasn't Strike Freedom made in order to create a more versatile Gundam so he owuldn't be caught by surprise in close combat? Well, either way, Heero is a much better pilot when you take his mastery of the Zero System into consideration. Heero can specialize and excel in any situation. He can use long range (Zero) or pure melee (Epion). Actually, Epion might be an even worse match for Kira.
@narutowned That there is the problem with Kira. Rather than gain skill, which he had with the Strike Gundam, he just builds a suit that compensates his lack of it. Have problem hitting targets? Make a multi auto aim function. Got whooped in melee? Build an add on that helps with melee. All of his suits are built to cover up his poor piloting skills, if he was to ever fight in a regular mobile suit he woul have been shot down long ago.
@narutowned Heero on the other hand has piloted normal mobile suits and amazingly held his own. When it comes down to pure skill, Kira is left out to dry. He relies on machines doing all the work for him while Heero only uses the Zero System but before that he did amazing in the Wing Gundam and normal mobile suits.
@punkKid62 Agreed. Hero has performed effectively using a Leo. He's also been able to pilot damaged, and malfunctioning mechs with ease. But Kira's Coordinator abilities do account for most of his success. I would say that you can't completely discount his skills considering his superb ability to work machines.
While his skills would allow him to defeat any normal pilot with ease, he would never match Heero's skills.
Also, I think Kira might lose due to excessive talking during battle. lol jk
@narutowned Oh I know Kira has skill, he showed it when he piloted the Strike. It proved that he could match any other Gundam Pilot, he adapted to his situation and did amazing. Once he got the Freedom however, he forgot he had that skill and got lazy. He skills went downhill and he was able to be tossed around by a rag doll, the druggies ruined him, Athrun ruined him, Le Cruset ruined him, Shinn ruined him all because he forgot to adapt like he did with the Strike.

@narutowned It kinda was, they have a series called Super Robot Wars. In one of them Super Robot Wars Alpha 3, the characters from Evangelion showed up and I kid you not, Shinji told Kira to man up and grow a pair. If you've seen Evangelion, you'd know this to be cosmic. One of the whiniest protagonists couldn't handle another protagonist and told him to shut up. Course all the other characters, including the Gundam characters were harsh but it was Shinji that out right yelled at him. Brilliant

Kira in freedom doesnt aim to kill, while heero can kill people without hesitation, bit hesitation will make lots of difference in actual fight, i know that strike freedom has strong firearms but how can u explain zero destroyed 1 colony in a split of second??? and besides, heero wont die, heero doesnt die even he self destruct.. can kira jump from tall buildings without parachute? heero can ^_^
Actually I found a manual in the internet and printed it, It also has info how to get Sazabi which said that you need to use 60 mecha to unlock it but I was lazy at that time and I didn't bother getting it since you already have Nu gundam. I went through hell just to get Nirvash spec3, but I actually got it.

Actually Wing does not have infinite plot armor...not entirely like some of these new Gundam shows.
About mid-way into the series the OZ cooperation captures and destroys the original Gundams...until the remains were found and they were re-built again.
Nobody in Wing is Invicible...some characters are morons but not totally protected by uber plot armor.
The original Wing Gundam was first self destructed by Heero during a battle early in the series.
After that it was rebuilt but left on Earth by Heero. After that OZ found it and then outfitted it for space, it is later partially destroyed by battleship Libra.
Wing Zero however was kept by Heero for a long period of time...until the end of the Endless Waltz movie where it was heavily damaged and eventually destroyed at the end of the movie. (Though Heero survives)
Wow...and I thought Freedom and Justice were big on single burst firepower...
Heero and Wing Zero literally vaporized Justice Gundam and critically wounded Freedom Gundam with one full powered Buster rifle blast.
Point Taken: Stay away from Gundams with huge feathered wings...and....very....um....very big beam cannons.
Then again the AI here was VERY stupid....they were practically shooting in the completely wrong direction. Real players would not have let themselves slip up.

That said, the mobile suit's ability doesn't really matter as long as the pilot is a newtype. In fact, in one of the Crossbone Gundam manga's, a group of aces got completely raped by a monkey newtype in an old Zaku II suit.

Kira is not Zechs.-_-
The Original Buster rifle is the one that has the 3-shot limit, while the TBR has been established by the Gundam community to be able to fire an unlimited number shots due to a dedicated on the TBR.
It's been explained that the only reason why Freedom has a high power output is due to power all of its Extra weapon to use at Full-burst, while Wing Zero's reactor is only to power the suit itself, while the TBR has it's own dedicated reactor.

In my opinion, Freedom can beat Wing Zero. Im not saying easily cause theres a fucking super soildier piloting wing.
Im basing this on several factors.
1. Although Wing Zero has the abso-fucking-lute advantage in sheer firepower, but the TBR has to charge for 2 second before discharging, giving Freedom enough time to dodge.
2. Wing Zero's weapon options are limited (boiling down to only the TBR, Vulcan guns & his 2 beam sabers) whilst Freedom has 5 ranged weapons, 2 beam sabers & Vulcan guns.

1)There's no noticeable charge-time for the TBR(Where The Hell did you get the 2 seconds from?), not to mention Mobile DOLLS, who have shown to maneuver at 8Gs(moving so fast, it pushed 2 MS back after passing by them) and beam spam like Kira, couldn't even react to the beam.
2) 2 beam sabers and the TBR is all Heero needs anyway(that's basic after all) and Kira never used Full-burst against a main character(maybe because they're moving targets, unlike CE grunts).

@portablemp5 Remember Kira Fires the Full Burst mode on Legend at the end of Gundam Seed.. :P and if Kira use the Full burst on a single target that is an overacting one it might kill the target due to explosion.. Wile the Buster Rifle from the Wing Zero is impressive it's not vary practical as it has to stand still when firing it. On top of that in a 1 on 1 battle it's useless unless it's literlly point blank range becuase the beam is slow enough to be dodged at range. And the Zero System doesnt see in the future it uses battle data to predict future movements.

Episode 32, Technical officer, Trant fired the TBR while moving. Episode 43, Trowa, while having amnesia fired the TBR while moving. The TBR's beam is fast enough that even Mobile DOLLs couldn't react to it.
Episode 32, Trant Clark says to Duo that he can see Duo's every move, even how he dies. >.>

Episode 42, Wufei piloting Wing Zero, fought 40 Mobile DOLLs Virgo 2 with "his eyes closed".
We've seen Wing Zero fire the TBR while moving, the TBR doesn't even have a noticeable charge time, so no. The TBR is practical to be used in 1-on-1, considering that the TBR can both spam a normal-sized and big-sized beams in rapid succession(episode 43).

Okay JusticeGubBlade, your seriously mistaken with some of thoughs comments.
(1) Kira is BY FAR the better pilot, offical listing put only Amuro Ray as better then him and even then its only by a slight margin.
(2) Wing Zero isent considered the fastest. In terms of raw speed Double Zeta Gundam is far faster because its engin produces almost twice the power Wing Zero's does.

Freedom needs a target system that hits 5 targets only while wing zero uses twin buster rifle. Kira might be a better pilot but Wing zero's System gets Heero up the pace. As for speed Wing zero can spin 360 degrees in a sec. Zeta can do that to but only faster in waverider mode. Freedom can't do all that.

@lemmehaviet Freedom can`t spin 360 degrees...?...now thats what we can call a lame Gundam in a cool body...then again the only reason we use Freedom in this fight againts Zero is because the game won`t allow you to choose Zero for this stage...a total dissapointment and it hurts to use other mechs to kill him...to be honest it just hurts to see Zero got blown away...and I always hated this stage of the game...in fact I never played this stage again after finishing it the 1st time...

The seed might be hard to defeat but Heero still has Zero system and the TBR as backup so if Freedom ever wins. Then their would be a dumb plot twist. Thats why I said Strike Freedom has the upper advantage.

and its so gay how people exagerate the zero system, its predictions and stuff are just suggestions and possible ways to move about the situation, coordinators like kira adapt to the sitiuation quickly and on top of that he has FULL control of his seed mode, and the zero system does have negative effects on the pilots who use it for a long period of time

Burning Gundam can only use Hyper mode when it's health is below 1000 in this game(or kill a lot of grunts) and it's the only time you can use Burning field dash, Burning Finger and Sekiha Tenkyouken, but it's killer when up against close-range fighters. But I always get pwned whenever I use Burning Gundam in real ace mode in the boss battle stages.

if its fire power zero can wipe anything even those firepower kira uses, but if its melee combat, i think its draw, but the accept 1 big problem, heero doesnt hesitate to kill and to die, while kira does hesitate to kill, how can u pawn zero if u dont have will to kill?? any answer? zero is fast and has zero system, im talking zero which has shield not from the endless waltz, the zero which can destroy 1 colony instant and the one who can change to bird

First things first Heero did open his parachute but it was too late when he jumped off the building so he managed to actually survive, Heero is a super human while Kira is ultimate coordinator which means a coordinator that does not make mistake which wont matter if hesitate. Just like Amuro Kira also wont have a problem dodgeing the buster rifle, the Zero system wont improve Heero's skillz just predict the future while Kira has SEED mode in Strike freedom.

The Wing zero in endless waltz and the orginal look diffrent but they are the same some people dont know this but the Wing zero in endlesswaltz use its wings as a shield and instead of bird mode it goes rocket mode when the whole entire wings cover the body. Which will protect it alot even from Strike freedoms dragoons.

Heero and Amuro fighting would make the most badass epic gundam fight of all time. And it would be a draw i believe, i cant see either gundam defeating each other.

the wing zero is fast yeah and it does have the zero system but kira has the FASTER freedom and seed mode and as for melee abilities it is certainly not a draw freedom is incredibly maneuverable and swift when it comes to melee like when he wiped out two mobile suits by goin straight thru the middle with a quick turn

Actually Freedom is heavier than Wing Zero(Custom or otherwise) and it's power output is weak as well. The Zero system only has negative effects if you don't have your emotions in check and Heero would own Kira in a melee fight seeing as how that's Heero's preferred choice of combat. The only reason the Freedom seemed that fast is due to Bandai wanted SEED to sell model kits, making it extremely flashy. It all comes down to the schematics and the pilot.

Oh they did, problem is; the official schematics released for the Mobile Suits with model kits, Gundam video games and card games state that the Gundams in SEED are low level Mobile Suits. Once again, the reason they seemed over powered, Bandai loves Model Kits and the best way to sell models? Over the top fight scenes, it also helps that SEED made it seem like a person with no skill could own as long as they have a Gundam.

They're not really low level mobile suits, they can fare well in the ZZ time line mainly because some of the mobile suits are still heavy as 60 tons though, but after CCA, the MS weight was already down by 30 tons plus the CE Gundams aren't made of Gundarium, making them less effective then your Gundarium armored MS but they still have the PSA to guard against Kinetic damage. I'm talking about the weight class and speed difference between the MS, it's a shame they never had a chance to trim down

The mind set of CE seems to be more weapons than more thrusters. ZZ was heavy but had a couple extra thrusters for support. While in CE, they keep stuffing all sorts of extra crap on their Mobile Suits. For a race of modified humans, you'd think coordinators would have constructed slimmed down and effective Mobile Suits.

I'm talking about armor weight, because Gundarium became more lighter when time passed by, as it is now as light as 10 tons(F91-Victory timeline) which beat PSA which is heavy as 70-80 tons.

i can say that armor would make the difference in this battle. one word Gundanium. the nearly indestructable space metal the all the endless waltz customs were made of has proven to be tougher and both lighter than gundarium

@zexion1 Actually gundams use the armor type called Gundarium, not all gundams uses it though. Theirs Luna alloy, Lunar titanium, E-Carbon, phase shift, etc. Gundanium alloy is the strongest armor because it resists lazer.

The speed-factor of all the late UC and Wing units is very high. It's obvious from the technical manuals and designs that all of the later U.C. era units and Wing seris Gundams were buld shorter, lighter, and smaller with a high-grade alloy and maximum agility in mind. Every single unit from F-90 onwards, and every unit from Wing would run circles around the Freedom.
This is all technical crap anyway, but if we're going to argue technicals, then the facts are there.

@mulatok98 Thanks for the insult there buddy. Freedom has a higher output for it's phase shift, thrusters and weapons; it's power supply is divided, while Wing Zero's is just for the thrusters. The HiMAT is just thrusters in it's wings, which Zero has as well(don't beleive me? Why is exhaust coming out of the wings?). It completely comes down to skill, which Kira lacks. A weapon is only as good as it's user. As for the Zero system, it increases reaction time by analyzing fighting/piloting style.

@mulatok98 Umm what melee skill? Kira only used it against Cruset and even then he got whooped. Heero used manual aim in endless waltz where Kira has yet to switch off auto aim. The only named character Kira beat by himself in the SEED series is Cruset, every other character has caused Kira to get major repairs or a new gundam *coughShinncough*. SEED mode just means 100% battle awareness, which any character outside of SEED already has.

Also, the fight between Heero and Wufei wasn't really a fight, Heero was trying to knock sense into him; not kill him. Seeing as how he gave up at the end just to convinve him. Plus, the aiming in Endless Waltz was for a re-enforced door that needed three hits to blow open.

@brianluk2006 Well they're both powered by nuclear reactor. It's just different types. Freedom has a fisson reactor, which has a higher output but is extremely unstable. while Zero has a fusion reactor which may have a lower output but it's stable and works more efficiently. Look at our sun, it's a giant fusion reactor.

@punkKid62 Very True. Although, Strike Freedom might be able to beat Wing Zero Custom. Custom cannot withstand the recoil of 3 shots of a fully charged buster Rifle. I would call that a serious drawback for the new model. From what I saw, it seemed like Custom was a a downgrade from Zero.
No way Wing Zero would lose though.

@narutowned Custom and Wing Zero are the exact same suits, just different outer designs. The TBR's are only designed to be shot three times as they fire focused radiation. it requires a cool down time after every shot; Heero overloaded the guns which in turn destroyed the suit due to fire one shot after the other. In space, SF and Zero are evenly matched in the speed department but Phase shift won;t protect againts the over heating effect of the TBR

@narutowned Zero also has tougher armor. Gundamium, as well as Gundarium (UC) are amazingly durable. Kira can hit Zero as many times as he likes with his guns (Heero of course will be a pilot and dodge as best he can against spamming) but Zero can out last SF in terms of durablilty, plus none of SF's guns have an over heating effect so SF is looking at some serious damage from a far. Plus, Heero is more or a melee type so of course sooner or later Heero will end the fight with a saber stab

@punkKid62 Wasn't Strike Freedom made in order to create a more versatile Gundam so he owuldn't be caught by surprise in close combat? Well, either way, Heero is a much better pilot when you take his mastery of the Zero System into consideration. Heero can specialize and excel in any situation. He can use long range (Zero) or pure melee (Epion). Actually, Epion might be an even worse match for Kira.

@narutowned That there is the problem with Kira. Rather than gain skill, which he had with the Strike Gundam, he just builds a suit that compensates his lack of it. Have problem hitting targets? Make a multi auto aim function. Got whooped in melee? Build an add on that helps with melee. All of his suits are built to cover up his poor piloting skills, if he was to ever fight in a regular mobile suit he woul have been shot down long ago.

@narutowned Heero on the other hand has piloted normal mobile suits and amazingly held his own. When it comes down to pure skill, Kira is left out to dry. He relies on machines doing all the work for him while Heero only uses the Zero System but before that he did amazing in the Wing Gundam and normal mobile suits.

@punkKid62 Agreed. Hero has performed effectively using a Leo. He's also been able to pilot damaged, and malfunctioning mechs with ease. But Kira's Coordinator abilities do account for most of his success. I would say that you can't completely discount his skills considering his superb ability to work machines.
While his skills would allow him to defeat any normal pilot with ease, he would never match Heero's skills.
Also, I think Kira might lose due to excessive talking during battle. lol jk

@narutowned Oh I know Kira has skill, he showed it when he piloted the Strike. It proved that he could match any other Gundam Pilot, he adapted to his situation and did amazing. Once he got the Freedom however, he forgot he had that skill and got lazy. He skills went downhill and he was able to be tossed around by a rag doll, the druggies ruined him, Athrun ruined him, Le Cruset ruined him, Shinn ruined him all because he forgot to adapt like he did with the Strike.

He'd try to convince Heero that fighting is wrong, and while Heero would agree he would ask why he fights; Kira would reply 'to end the fighting' and the flaw in that is rather than become a politician that has to power to dictate war, he just wanders into a battlefield and confuses the hell out of people. Heero would point this out and Kira would just reply with 'no' 'shut up' 'it's not like that'

In one of them Super Robot Wars Alpha 3, the characters from Evangelion showed up and I kid you not, Shinji told Kira to man up and grow a pair. If you've seen Evangelion, you'd know this to be cosmic. One of the whiniest protagonists couldn't handle another protagonist and told him to shut up. Course all the other characters, including the Gundam characters were harsh but it was Shinji that out right yelled at him. Brilliant

Actually I found a manual in the internet and printed it, It also has info how to get Sazabi which said that you need to use 60 mecha to unlock it but I was lazy at that time and I didn't bother getting it since you already have Nu gundam. I went through hell just to get Nirvash spec3, but I actually got it.

This is to all of you who argue over which one is the best
you need to realize that both the strike freedom and the wing zero are good and bad in their own ways
the fact is that the gundam isnt the problem but the pilot
seed/ seed destiny had a lot of drama in it (more than wing for sure) so kira has a softer personality than heero
so the winner would be whichever gundam heero is piloting
also remember that this is a game so the winner would be p1 no matter who he was playing as

Actually Wing does not have infinite plot armor...not entirely like some of these new Gundam shows.
About mid-way into the series the OZ cooperation captures and destroys the original Gundams...until the remains were found and they were re-built again.
Nobody in Wing is Invicible...some characters are morons but not totally protected by uber plot armor.

The original Wing Gundam was first self destructed by Heero during a battle early in the series.
After that it was rebuilt but left on Earth by Heero. After that OZ found it and then outfitted it for space, it is later partially destroyed by battleship Libra.
Wing Zero however was kept by Heero for a long period of time...until the end of the Endless Waltz movie where it was heavily damaged and eventually destroyed at the end of the movie. (Though Heero survives)

Wow...and I thought Freedom and Justice were big on single burst firepower...
Heero and Wing Zero literally vaporized Justice Gundam and critically wounded Freedom Gundam with one full powered Buster rifle blast.
Point Taken: Stay away from Gundams with huge feathered wings...and....very....um....very big beam cannons.
Then again the AI here was VERY stupid....they were practically shooting in the completely wrong direction. Real players would not have let themselves slip up.

2. what zero sytem do is calculate all the possible outcomes and transmit it to the brain of the pilot, therefore it is up to the pilot himself on how to "react"

The Wings of Light, used by ZAFT's ZGMF-X42S Destiny, are the most recent technology to incorporate Mirage Colloid. While their primary function is as a propulsion system, which gives the suit acceleration superior to any contemporary mobile suit, they also incorporate a Mirage Colloid holographic system. This system spreads Colloid particles, leaving a trail of visible after-images that can confuse enemy sensors. The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam is also rumored to have this technology.

While the exact detail of this technology is unknown, Voiture Lumiere is a new form of propulsion system that is primary used for interplanetery travel. In the case of GSX-401FW Stargazer, it is composed of a ring shaped nano-particle generator, which is movable and transformable via a variable arms mechanism. It will catch solar wind on its curtain of light and starts at to move at 0.5cm then in a minute it will move at least 18 meters.

After an hour, its at least 64 meters from where it started and the Voiture Lumiere, will achieve a speed of 128 km/h and will constantly gain momentum. However, it is intended to be used as a solar sail in conjunction with a high-powered laser. However, the Voiture Lumiere on the Delta Astray resembles and functions closer to Destiny's Wings of Light.

It is possible that Destiny's "Wings of Light" is an evolved form of Voiture Lumiere, as the Delta Astray once visited Armory One and met with Chairman Durandal shortly before its attack. Its purcursor is an electromagnetic propulsion system, which is currently used in UT-1D Civilian Astray DSSD Custom.

Canonically speaking, Turn X is the ultimate weapon in the entire Gundam franchise. After all, Turn A was reverse engineered from Turn X.
Also, Nu Gundam isn't as incredibly strong as you think. It's only a UC 93 suit and is easily outperformed by the later Gundams such as F91 and V2.

That said, the mobile suit's ability doesn't really matter as long as the pilot is a newtype. In fact, in one of the Crossbone Gundam manga's, a group of aces got completely raped by a monkey newtype in an old Zaku II suit.

Actually, Wing Zero only outputs 3732 kW while Freedom has been quoted to output 8826 kW, more than twice that of Freedom.
