  • Nice! Thanks. I think about this a lot because I perceive the daily discomfort of vehicle-related noise pollution more on a daily basis than air pollution -- even though I know that long term effects of air pollution can be deadly

  • What about noise pollution? I don't think enough attention is paid to acoustic noise compared to other negative impacts of automobile traffic.

  • @spirovision Thanks for your comments. We expect there will be positive benefits in reduced noise pollution due to congestion reduction impacts if a congestion pricing program were implemented. The San Francisco Department of Public Health will consider noise impacts as a part of the Health Impact Assessment (HIA) they are conducting for MAPS.
