those early songs can't really be defined in any style. Blackened death-trash metal maybe? Early Doom metal its another thing if you heard some Pentagram, Candlemass and Cathedral. Then it turn more death metal influenced with bands like Paradise Lost, Anathema and My Dying Bride. Tiamat had never been completely doom metal. They were as doom as gothic and avant garde metal.
