As a new piano student and an adorer of this piece I really appreciate what you are doing. The video was posted a few years ago now do you have another video?
That was amazing man, but didn't you skip the first part in the beginning? I'm learning this right now too and it's hard stuff man. I have a lot of respect for you
Berezovsky was my inspiration for tackling the piece in the first place... I heard his rendition of this on an album a couple months before I recorded this and fell in love with it. I believe there's a video up on here now of him playing it. He really brings the song to life.
I think this song should go faster; the semi-quavers on the part when you play with the interval of a 5th or something like that; pretty good playing though xP
I was riding home on the train listening to my iPod and I played this song, and I thought that I would love to play that on the piano! I tried picturing playing it in my mind when I listened. Your video is great for inspiration!
This is pretty cool man, I've never heard the piece like this. Mind you, I prefer the orchestra, but I've always wondered what this would sound like solo, way to experiment, I like it!
Oh. My. God. I have NEVER had respect for piano players...but I actually cried when I saw this!! I definatly have so much more respect for them now!! It is so hard in a full orchestra, but on a piano, from your head, it must be almost impossible...awesome job. Keep up the great work!
You obviously don't have respect, but you DO have responses...I don't think that it really matters how I respond. If my response is crying, laughing, or screaming at the top of my lungs, I have a response none the less. If there is a response, then that means the musician has done his job. I honestly have no idea what your point is. But if my point is not clear enough, go take a music appreciation class and learn something.
a music appreciation class? ouch. look, you are getting yourself worked up over nothing! All i want to know is if you cry at a lot of stuff, because there are many other pieces of music that are way more moving than this. i'm not trying to prove something. i'm just a curious kid that thinks it odd to respond so much to THIS particular piece of music... thats all. So if you respond, could you lay low on the insults and explain this to me?
I rarely ever cry. There are definatley other peices of music that move me. This is one of the peices that does. It has a symbolic meaning to me. I dont know waht to tell you...if someone said "You dont get out much...okayy...." wouldnt that pxss you off too? Just wondered...I am sorry for going off the handle. What is there to explain?
true, i was a bit harsh, i must admit. I just... i don't know. it seems a bit odd that this one would trigger such an emotion. However, i can't make that judgment u suppose unless i know all of the sentimental value it has to you and you family. So... you cry and I shall laugh. life goes on :)
GREAT!!!!! simply AWSOME!!!! in a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being clementi's sonatinas and 10 being the rach 3 concerto how difficult would you say this piece is??
That's pretty goddamn good, man! I've been trying that song on guitar for a long while. I'd have to overlap myself to sound as thourough as you. Bravo.
that was great, but why not play the last minute or so of the piece, it's so nice but no one plays it(disney)

Yes...and, what is your point? If I have serious respect for music, then it should not matter how I respond, but that I had a response at all...

you don't have to give a response to music in order to say you respect it.
